  • nice work man! Love Shakey's songs, just bought a cd of 11 of 'em...That little "hickupping" note near the end is something that's kinda cool, and difficult to do (so far!)

  • what amp used=?

  • @srvvaughan93 I don't know for sure, but I'd bet he was playing straight through the PA.

Big Walter from what I have read would have done the same; he didn't care much for gear, and like many other greats played with whatever was available. A great player can make anything sound good; the best gear won't give you a great sound if you don't have the chops!

  • Animalll... melhor interpretação do youtube..

    I love Walter Horton...

    Bié Brasil...

  • Incredible. I can't believe it. Can't imagine how much time you spent studying to master Big Walter's sound like that. Just sounds so good. If only I could afford to study under you!

  • tpod17, you can study under David Barrett, I have for a couple of years, and have never met him. He has a great Classic Chicago Blues Harp series on DVD and its well worthwhile, gives you all you need to know.

  • Great version thanks for sharing David, Trossingen was to me a magical small town indeed,

greetings from Chile and hope we can share a chilean pisco again someday.
