Actually Saint Valentine or at least according to the legend was a priest who in ancient Rome married people who were not allowed to get married due to the emperor’s law which made it illegal. The emperor believing more men would be willing to join the army if they were not bound in marriage to a woman.
I learned that the person who made this video was fuckin annoying! I am sure between the flashes are attempts at mind-manipulation! Like religion isn't enough;p Could just state facts. oh no. The christian world has adopted many pagan practices and most christians do not want to know any better..... Valentines, Easter, Christmas, Halloween. Christians continue to participate, say they don't care cuz they just love it so much. This is a deception in the Church that needs to be dealt with. Gratz on the video and i pray that there are those that actually take the message to heart.

this feast is getting very popular in Russia, people believe the feast to be Christian. Most Russians identify themselves in the Orthodox believers. We have neither the saint, nor a similar story about a patron of lovers in our country. I suppose in our case it's just marketing to make people to spend much money.
@hellsdaleagle, if the "st. valentine" myth was really true, then how come his holiday has been removed from all the church calendars? Why wouldn't the church leave a legit saint on the calendar?
