I love the comments on this video! I never liked the real (late 90's) emo that much, but I recognized that it was done well by many bands. I had respect for these bands...also, sometimes I'm just personally not ready for new things: I bought GVB's Bee Thousand, and sold it a few months later...not Punk enough, haha! But now I wish I had it back.---My point was, hearing and seeing what passes for emo now is insulting. As long as we keep making forward moves we will stay ahead of the sheep.

actually AFI has been around for a LONG time. they are very talented musicians, they're just emo as fuck. as for new music, i agree, all anyone wants to listen to is shitty bands with gay fag musicians, or crappy screamo music that just sucks altogether. 80s and 90s were the best time for alternative rock. now it's fuckin over. although, it's like every new trend, soon fall out boy, AFI, underoath and all that shit will be gone and replaced with something new.

AFI became my favorite band about 7 years ago, and have appreciated their progression as a band. theyre not sellouts and theyre not emo.

theyre just great musicians making great music. what i love most, no one comes close to their sound.
