It's not that Tori is sick, she sounds like this now. Voice changed with age. Same thing happened to Björk, Joni Mitchell, and the more popular (though much less talented) Madonna and Maria Carey. Don't try defending her, it's normal for a singer's voice to go down on the notes with age.

She just sounds like she has a cold to me. My high range always goes when I have a virus. Plus, she's spending a lot of time on this tour trying to impress people by singing rougher, like a rock chick--e.g. Code Red and Body and Soul, etc. I love love love those songs but they will tear up a pretty soprano voice like Tori's if she's not careful. But yeah, sounds like she's sick here. She looks paler than usual too. Touring must be so exhausting, seriously. Ugh. I feel for her.

I agree. The guitar is way too much in the foreground. When I watch the performance of this song with the three piece band for aol sessions (I think it was) it sounded beautiful. It's hard sometimes to sing over everything and ones voice will strain. I've seen Tori live twice and she sounded lovely. She could be doing too many concerts in a row. She seems to overdo her self sometimes with that.

whoa whoa whoa!! just the fact that both of you got so defensive shows how bad she sounded here. just admit it. tori sounds way better on solo tours (at least recently). this song is soo beautiful on the cd and everytime she does it live it looks/sounds like she's struggling with the chorus. and fiona's voice is waaaaay more soulful than tori. it's true, tori rocks waaay better on the piano, but because of aging and so on, it's just normal for her voice to go weaker.

well i've been a fan of both for quite some time now. more of a tori fan at the moment actually. but this really wasn't good. and i'm not talking about the chorus where the guitar kicks in. let's be serious now, in comparison to previous concerts, would you this be on the top of the list? NO!! and all i'm saying is, it's normal for that to happen, hell, it's a miracle she can still do this past the age of 40. and fiona's the queen of alt. lyrics and i want no more talk about that!!
