Just finished a run of this at The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich. I can honestly say it was the most entertaining musical I've ever worked on. The west-end version sure has a complex flight script :L

I got the part of Lewis and its great, the lines he says are very comical. My school are doing it in July 2011 so i cant wait, rehearsals are in full swing now !!. It's very good for any school or drama group wondering whether to do it DO IT it's a fantastic opportunity to bring out your acting side

@sander19951995 Definitely brush up on your singing as although it doesn't sound difficult there can be tricky notes to hit, especially in embarrassment rhythms are very offbeat so make sure you prove to them you can hit the notes with ease, you also need to act as though your not all there as Emmo is quite a dim character and has several lines which are only funny because of how he is.

@Ammerose3011 The version they send out commercially has a few songs missing and a few songs added. No more house of fun and NW5 isn't in the youtube videos but it is in the commercially commissioned score. However i think you can find it on their official website. I literally just did this at my school, conducting it was so much fun :) All the string parts also didn't come with the score so they had to be reconstructed by a lovely lady i know. A lot of it is different so be warned.

@KEZZA768 I auditioned for this show last week in my town. We had to sing It Must Be Love solo and do a dance to Baggy Trousers.

I got call backs for principal roles and I performed my solo song again and half way through my acting (the script for Emmo), the director stopped me and asked me to get a script for Joe, the main.

Got second call backs on Sunday, then we find out. Will let you know!
