Ironic that the this emulator which is emulating a PowerPC game console isn't even built for the PowerPC macs, but instead all other platforms BUT the platform that you'd think would make the most sense!

I mean get a used PowerPC G4 for around 50-100 and you'd think that'ld be the ultimate emulation box?

alright i have xcode and macports installed but after putting the follwing command into terminal: sudo port install libao cairo wxwidgets glew, its taking forever, i mean my internet isn't crazy fast, but its been going for like 2 and a half hours

@w7y7a7t7t  when you run that command your computer isn't just downloading each of those modules, it's compiling them from source as well. Compiling can take a long time, trust me I've done a lot of coding so I know.

It will crash at times when loading games, it does that for me too. Just try launching until it works.

@gman6692 Lol, my Dolphin on Macbook Pro is better. And mine never crashes. But this good too, just not as good as mine.

depending on your internet connection speed it may take a while. However if you have not installed xcode and macports before running this, it won't work at all and may freeze.

the sudo prefix for commands can let you delete, change or do anything to any file on your computer even important system files. However for this you have nothing to be worried about as the commands will do nothing to any important system files, so just enter your password and proceed.

Ok i installed everything i needed to then i went to the instructions under x64 and i don't get it how am i supposed to run this can you please mac a tutorial! :(

You won't be able to run it in 64bit without building it yourself. due difficulties with glew compiling for x64, it is very hard. However you will be able to run the 32bit version that I built just fine by following the instructions I put in the video description.

damn can't get thebuild to work... i downloaded xCode 3.0 and mac ports and nvidia all that crap and then i typed in the ting in terminal it took it like 2 hours for it to finish installing and then i try to open it, it says unexpectedly quit have any ideas?

you wouldn't be able to make a tutorial would you? I've tried running it on VMware and i couldnt get it to cooperate. it would be alot handier running it directly on my mac

nice job. I got it running on my iMac the other day, but I can't get it to work with my XBOX controller...yet anyways. Mine seemed to run around the same framerate-maybe a little higher.

Is that a 360 controller? I was never able to get the xbox 360/keyboard plugin to work with my keyboard(I don't have a 360 controller so I can't test that). However, the controller I was using to make this video was an xbox original controller with it's end modified to plug in to usb. I used njoy 0.4 as the input plugin.
