  • @jack9598 several little towns - town of Kinzua was about 4 miles upriver. Tore down my grandmother's house before the valley was flooded. We built a deck and a shed out of the 2 1/4" cherry flooring from her house.

I was in the High School band that play at the dedication.

  • In the begining I can see the carcasses of dead indians scattered around the dirt.

  • That's some really cool footage.

  • theres a johnny cash song about this

  • nice

  • I'm from Kane so i know all about the dam, the story behind it, and the flooded towns and land

  • I Gary Savage walked were the American Indian lived, before their land was flooded, concerning the kinzua dam. My dad and brother helped build the bridge. I was around 17 years of age when we lived in warren Pennsylvania concerning the bridge, as I said my dad brother help build the bridge.

My great grand dad was John Savage, and my great grand mother was an America Indian, big savage mountain was named after my great grand dad John Savage.

  • i had a dream of a flood and i believe this is were the flood water will come from

  • Yep, was a town up river. Still see roads going into the lake, blacktopped. When they drop water over winter there's often foundations and such exposed near the northern ends of the lake. Had to move not only Indians but also Indian burial grounds to put in the dam.

  • I am from Pittsburgh and my father loved to take us to see dams like this, I believe we took a tour down inside of it. This is a power dam I believe.

  • Is it true their was once a town up river?

  • mamasquirley I have lived in bradford since I was 14 and i am now 62, I love it here, I own my own property and my family keeps telling me I should move, but I dont think I ever will, I have moved from here fiur times but I keep coming back, I have lived in eight different towns and there is nothing like bradfor

  • Anyone ever been to the galley, in youngsville? Great subs!

  • Anyone have videos of the bodies being lifted out? My family told me about that when they went to see the construction. This video is really cool. Thank you for posting it!

  • I had a dream around 20 years ago, about a flood. I ask the Holy Spirit many times were will this flood be. As I was doing the HOLY SPIRIT'S work in different states, I would ask, could this be the place, and I never seen anyplace that looked like the place in my dream, unitl I was in Kittanning, PA. United States. I called the people incharce of the Kinzua Dam, and was told, after I told him about my dream, that the Dam has had a crack since it was built.

    google search apostle gary savage

  • yea i live in warren they fill the crack every year. the stroy behind it that ive herd is that before they built the dam there were indians living near the river and they kicked them out and the indian chief put a curse on the location and theres been deaths and the crack ever since............

  • Visions and Dreams

Prophecy, I have had visions of ufos and dreams concerning the United States.

One dream came true concerning Bill Clinton. There are two dreams left, a flood concerning the Kinzua Dam and a bomb concerning New York city.

google search apostle gary savage to read more about his work for the past 22 years

  • My uncle was one of the engineers who helped design the dam - I remember this all very well! Makes me homesick!

  • lots of history. losts of myths

  • Very cool! We have home movies of this dam being built also but not quite as far along. Our movies show the dam about half built and dozers moving the large rocks at the base of the dam. I may post them when I get time.

  • I was born in Warren, PA, now I live in Maine. I used to fish in the tailwaters of the dam. Some BIG fish in there. I miss a lot of things about that area, mostly the fact that a lot of my family still lives there. Very interesting to see the footage of the dam being built. Cornplanter, can you swim?

  • I agree. Really nice video for those of us from the area who were a little to young to see the construction. I wonder if it will last as long as the sun shall shine?

  • My family goes up to Kinzua every year for vacation,We swam at Kinzua beach over the 4th of july, thanks for these early picturs of the dam being built

  • My father had slides of the construction and sadly, they all were ruined. Thanks for this!

I'm from Warren originally and now live in the U.K.
