This is state-of-the art of the time of multi-sampling in hiphop that dominated the late 80's. This particular track is a MAGNIFICENT "sound collage" masterpiece. Listen to how all those different samples and scratches match, fit and melt together into this one tune.

This "Dust Brother featuring Beastie Boys" project was simply genius. It never got any better than this with this particular form of hiphop. Some said then that it was just ripping off others music - but it's actually art this way.

Paul's Boutique is my favorite record of all time. I had a yellow cassette when it came out and played it so much that it literally broke. The part where it says EZ Mike Libra, it originally had his phone number insted of Libra. I called him and we spoke for about 20 minutes. He was cool on the phone then he turned into a dick.
