Lovely, lovely, lovely.

The subtle differences in different versions (Original Ron Hynes, this, Jean Redpath, younger folks, ...) all add to this. It's a beautiful song. Nicely chosen and nicely performed here.

On the first Makem & Clancy album, Liam is introduced: "and the young fella', Liam." so long ago now... The digital age has really helped save a lot of memories.
