  • I remember they repeated this episode ALOT when it was on TV

  • is it just me, or is tony breathing really loud?

  • Ralphie was fucking awesome. He may have been a sick fuck, but they all were. Tony is the asshole in this scene. Ralph has his kid in the hospital and Tony goes on about the fucking horse getting burnt to death. Was it even Ralph who did that? Who knows... Certainly not enough to kill him. Fucking asshole, Tony, and his fucking horse.

  • shit...i think i might be a sociopath.

  • people don't choke to death in 10 seconds

  • @pretorious700 if you block off the arteries then yes.

  • @pretorious700 yeah in real life maybe.. but this is a tv show lol

  • "What sick fuck would do something like that?"

sick fuck Ralphie boy, that's who.

  • is this the nj accent?

  • YUH PHAT PHUCK

  • gordo de mierda! XD

  • ralphie was a sociopath and a great earner. but he liked it up the ass from janis(her dilo) and he hated tony. he deserved to go.

  • Hmmm...I understand that Tony loved Pie-o-my and it was a really shitty thing for Ralphie to do..but not only did Tony break the rules with this whole situation, Ralphie was EASILY the familly's best earner what with raking in 3mil a year from construction.

  • @PappeH Maybe you missed the part where Ralph pulled a knife on him

  • I actually forgot about that. (I didn't rewatch the clip, I just wanted to post what I said :P) I think perhaps it was because he knew Tony would react in a drastic way.

  • They killed the best character on the show

  • why did Ralphie make those high pitches noises toward the end? I thought as a Mafia guy he'd be cursing?

  • @Wrz2e I think "you eat beef and sausage by the fucking car load" was a true Mafia guys way out to respond to the mob boss, whatever happens beyond that is the sound of someone being killed lol

  • his breathing kills me

  • The most surprising and insane moment of this scene is when Tony refuses a meal.

  • @Ninety9Soulz

    Yeah, he's a fat ass

  • Tony needs to work for PETA

  • I used to be sociopathic mobster, then my kid took an arrow to the chest.

  • SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!

  • wasnt ralphie in the Matrix?

  • @baywatchrules12 sure was and also the Fugative

  • Apply Tony's sentimentality over the horse to the whore Ralph killed... suddenly...!

  • Ralphie wasn't an innocent creature

  • Ralphie's hair stays on the whole fight lol

  • Tony loved animals more than his own children. lol

  • I could never really manage to hate Tony. I think the main reason was that he seemed like a pretty reasonaböe guy wjen you put him next to Ralphie, Richie or Leotardo. Tony atleast had good qualities (even if he was a sociopath and everything).

  • considering how much bigger tony is than ralph he did put up quite a good fight and he took that first punch like a champ haha

  • @BillyInChains I think it was only the Raid to the face that did the most damage to Tony. Lol XD

  • how do you turn those damn captions off?

  • Another Christopher classic, the scene after this is funny when he's still a bit smacked out trying to deal with the situation

  • LOL at "..she was a beautiful innocent creature! What did she ever do to you?"

  • Hit em hard tone

  • The first time I saw this back in 2002, I was shocked. Just like in real life, death can happen out of nowhere to anybody.

  • Ralph never stood a chance...

  • the bit where you knew it was getting real was when ralphie goes... no I DID NOT, and so What! and then tony steps in SO WHAT!!!! i was like holy fuck this is intense

  • Lol Chris turns up high, great stuff.

  • chris is so irresponsible

  • @whatsgoingon07 Should take a lesson from Tony

  • That's my favorite part where that Ralph sprays Raid on Tony's Sopranos eyes!!!

    Funny as he'll!!!

  • do pay phones exist anymore? lol

  • 0:37 How can you do a serious scene when you hear that breathing.

  • Is Tony's breathing being so persistent in the sound something the audience should note?

  • oohhh my god my fav. character :-(((((

  • One of the highlights of the show. I remember watching this and thinking, just before the fight started, "Wow. Tony's gonna kill him."

  • Ya fat fuck! lol

  • Cifaretto really wasn't the sharpest tool. Come on, you have a big hulking man in your house who loved that animal, accusing you to be the one who did it, and you rant about the poor horse being a piece of arse in front of him. That sure ain't gonna cause a reaction Ralph, you tool

  • @anasuikishibe i liked ralph he was like a scarface character he wanted to be top man and he hated that fat cunt tony , also it was a fair fight there were so many weapons aviliable but obviously ralphie was gonna die , but compared to silvio and paulie, Ralph was a interesting character

  • @Thegoldstarman yeah i agree ralph kept the show entertaining and he was fucking funny as fuck... pauly is a boring cunt and an annoying one at that the only funny thing he ever said was the interior decorator thing

  • tony only shows sensitivity to animals. no surprise he got pissed here.

  • tony says at 1:43: "At this point the fire marshall says it looks accidental".

ralph GIVES himself away by saying: "what sick fuck would do something like that" implying that the horse got murdered. lol dumbass cifaretto

  • What's funny here is that had it been a human who was burned alive Tony probably wouldn't even of cared.

  • he's not a hypocrite. If he was a vegan he would sure be one but he is not. Horse isn't on the menu at an everyday restaurant and on top of that a multi thousand dollar race horse. Its like killing the Michael Jordan of horses for money. Who's wrong the greedy fucker or the man who cares.

  • @MrMcNell he is a hypocrite. He didn't get as mad when Ralph killed Tracy, a human.

  • @RostameJahangir he kicked the shit of of ralphie there 2. If the guys wern't there to break it up and calm him down he probably would have destroyed ralphie there 2. Ralph always did frustrate Tony

  • @RostameJahangir People care more about animals than they do humans.

  • This was the first episode I saw of the Sopranos. Best show ever made hands down.

  • This show is the only show where there are no good guys and bad guys. Yes, Ralphie deserved to die, but on the other hand, killing him over a horse (which you're not sure he did) is fucked up. There are only bad, and worst.

  • @zardcat1111 I agree. Tony was a hypocrite.

  • Tony Soprano became even worse in the 6th season. What a fucking psychopath :D Love this show!

  • @texasB666 Actually he was worse in season 5. Season 6 he began to calm down.

  • @StupidFuckingTrolls I don't remember much of season 5.

  • @StupidFuckingTrolls Perhaps you're right but he was actually pretty bad throughout the whole series :D As i recal from season 6 after he got shot he was pretty cool, yes. But i think it was because of Dr. Melfi he changed again. During the therapy she egged him on by showing him "he's still the boss". When he knocked out that kid, he was getting worse and worse. Thinking about killing Paulie, killing Chrissy, treading carmella and AJ like shit etc...

  • What are you a vegetarian? Classic

  • This was actually the last episode of Sopranos i saw.

  • Too bad Joe Pantoliano don't wanted to be anymore on the Sopranos... Great Character he played!

  • Man, those eggs looked good too.

  • Tony's love for animals really comes out here.

  • Comment removed

  • Everybody else, including Silvio n Paulie would just take that beating,I gotta respect a guy who stands up for himself like that n with logic.Wellacted scene.Only problem is that, despite the realism, when 2 grown men get into a fight that lasts longer then a minute, both are bound to get bruises or scratches..but for the sake of the plot n that Tony would be busted with just a scratch on him..he kills R without getting a mark. PS.Ralphie made 3 mil a year for the fam,a bit early to set fires

  • Not only the fact that the one screenwriter saw Ralphie as guilty and the other as innocent but the way Pantoliano plays the scene..it has layers. 1.His concern for the horse is fake cuz he got a son dying in the hospital. If guilty,I feel he would be way more defensive,as where here he seems to seek confrontation, pissed at both the hipocracy, timing n accusation. He was smart,he´s gonna burn the horse within 48 hrs of his son getting wounded n he spoke of high medical bills out loud? Doesnt fly.

  • It was the Horse. Tony loved that horse and Ralphy burned it alive.

  • gorda de merda!!!!!!

  • He deserved it, he was an out of control motherfucker.

  • i love the two big punches he gives Ralph after he strangles him to death. always makes me feel good. i fucking hated ralph. he was an evil, sleazy , insensitive cunt

  • I have to say after seeing this I did try the sour cream in the eggs and wow...what fluff!

  • @eyedea81 i know right

  • @eyedea81 fluff like good fluff? or bad

  • well that escalated fast...

  • @demoncleaner45

I mean, that really got out of hand fast!

  • @ThatUJohnWayne Yeah,I know...Tony killed a guy,There was creme fraiche,a can of spray,a horse on fire and Tony killed a guy with his bare hands.(Anchorman)

  • You can't help but laugh a little when the scrambled egg gets thrown everywhere!!

  • Its ironic that when Ralph kills to actually help someone, that kill was the one that destroyed him.

  • Pretty shoddy workmanship on those kitchen cabinets......

  • he really fuckin loved that horse. lol.

  • It was funny how in the later episodes everyone kept saying it was just a horse. And Tony kept getting mad.

  • who remembers the Matrix here :d

  • @gogorovic I know, right? I was half expecting Neo to show up and say, "can I get in a couple of punches too?"

  • It was the fat joke i promise lmao

  • Ralph's pussy was showin....

  • i fking hated ralphi, was glad he ended like that

  • which episode and series was this peeps. and the horse cooking episode

  • I like it how when Tony comes in it's beautiful outside behind him. A lovely suburbia and yet the horror that happens inside some of these houses is unknown to the outside world. Subtle yet profound mixture of cinematography and deeper meaning.

  • fuckin ralphie... he had to expect a reaction after that truckload remark! especially in light of the circumstances!!!

  • @icalledherjanet Wait, really? Are you insane? That was murder!

  • I can't believe this... all this over some filthy whooahr

  • Ralphie's face is fucked up

  • Toast? Always liked the way he says that. But Ralphi became toast!

  • sociopaths care mjore fo9r animals than humans ..............fact

  • @jimpurdie sociopaths don't care for humans or animals...............fact. That's why they are sociopaths.

  • @JudgeMazza Tony is a grade A sociopath, but he loves his family and friends. He doesn't give a shit about the strangers around him. It still hasn't fazed Tony that he killed Pussy either; he still has dreams and memories of the guy...he loved him like a brother. A psychopath doesn't care about family, friends, or anything besides themselves. Yea Tony is obsessed with himself even narcissist, but not a psycho. A psycho would of laughed at the fact the Ralphie killed one of Tony's young strippers

  • Lol, I love how Tony cares so much for these animals.

  • not saying he is not one, but is Tony a sociopath?, he seem's to feel alot of guilt and empathy when he's alone for (some of) the things he's done, and the show makes a point of his eating as a coping mechanism, as well as his dreams and mental state. he's dangerous, no doubt, but is he the same as Ralphie, or Chris or Paulie, or Phil?. i always looked at Tony's issues with animals being the only area he could be openly tender without looking weak in front of people. i could be wrong. opinions?

  • @cologey very well said.

  • 4:26 Ralph knees Tony in the balls

  • Comment removed

  • who else flipped off his tv screen after tony killed him? haha

  • nothing like leaving DNA just about everywhere

  • @fjordking

If you watch the entire the episode you'll know that was irrelevant.

  • one thing that always annoyed me about Tony Soprano: his irrational love of animals

  • @ordellrobbie517 irrational? go fuck yourself you motherless fuck.

  • @GregorHamilton go fuck yaself

  • @ordellrobbie517 Totally agree! It's one of the few things about the show that doesn't feel credible.

  • ive got a horse and anyone killed him wud meet the same end...

  • The irony is that the ONLY person Tony could call after killing Ralphie over a horse was his "horse-addicted" junkie cousin, who incidentally was home tying off and shooting up at the time.

  • @eleanorayoulateagain

    Why is that ironic?

  • @0:33 the subtitle is wrong....Ralphi says, "Oh Madonna, Oh Jesus." Who the fuck is Marne?

  • It was the Fat Joke I promise!

  • When Ralphie finally got what was coming to him, and Tony screams, "She was a beautiful, innocent creature! What did she ever do to you?!?" Tony was referring to both Pie-O-My, and Tracie. Ralphie did order the fire. His motive was the $100,000 in insurance money from the policy taken out on Pie-O-My.

  • I love this scene for many reasons.Mainly because someone finally stands up to Tony and exposes his bullshit.Tony only cares about profit. He is pissed at Ralph for the simpe reason that he thinks Ralph murdered an animal he used for income. This is further emphasised when he goes ballistic after Ralph says You eat beef and sausage by the f-----g carload.Ralph showed Tony what a hypocrite he really is.And I agree that Tracy gets her justice here. This scene is so multilayered its fantastic.

  • @aindriu1989 profit? no he killed Ralphie mainly because of his horse. If you watch the rest of the episodes, he doesn't give a shit about money, just the horse.

  • @StupidFuckingTrolls Then again, the horse could have just been like a deal breaker,he did way too many things to piss both Paulie and Johnny off previously and he acted like a complete douche,I'm sure he was getting on Tony's nerves a lot by then. Btw,you should win an award for the best username on YouTube!

  • @AnarchyDeathHate666 You typed that much shit for me? aww. What is this a fucking debate? I ain't got time for this.

  • yes ralphie did kill pie o mie the horse

  • did ralphie killl the horse?

  • If Tony Soprano ever agree's to let you cook him eggs you know your in trouble lol

  • tony real dan dadda

  • I must have worn out that dvd from playing this scene over and over again!...I love it when they finally find out that the prick-fuck had a rat's nest atop his stinking head!

  • I was very shocked at this scene when I first saw it. Wow Tony is fat but could still kick ass. Poor Ralph. He shouldn't have cross that line by killing the horse and insulting Tony.

  • Ralphie didn't set the fire. It was as a very lucky coincidence for him but the fire was probably an accident. Tony was obsessed with the fact that the horse had died in such an inhumane way...in the last episode we find that sociopaths are very fond of animals. When Tony said "she's a beautiful innocent creature" he was talking about Pie O My not the stripper that ralphie killed.

  • @brykiv tony knew ralph hired the FAMILY torch by the light bulb look at the seen when he is at the stable

  • lol

  • lol I like when he sprays him in the face with raid

  • The beauty of the Sopranos' writing is that when Tony is saying 'a beautiful innocent creature, what did she ever do to you?' he'll have been thinking of the young stripper that Ralphie killed. He considered having him killed for that. So in a way he did kill for it after all. I love the paralells that run through the Sopranos, very well written show.

  • @MrRicey80

Holy hell, I thought I had read every piece of critical analysis devoted to the Sopranos, and I've never seen that mentioned. Tony did somehow get that Bada Bing dancer some justice.

  • @MrRicey80 I miss this show too, it was brilliantly written and the acting is top-notch.

  • @MrRicey80

i think he was also thinking about the strippers kid becasue when Silvio picked her up from Ralph he was berating her because she had a kid at home.

  • Comment removed

  • MrDavearama, im sure you would win in a fight against Tony Soprano lol

  • @MrBudgieman1 In some earlier seasons Tony was in pretty good shape. In one episodes his neighbors asked if he knew anything about screams they heard. It turned out to be Tony lifting weights.

  • for an out of shape bastard.. tony can fight lol

  • Tony lost his own pet, but he loved it so much, that is why he cannot stand anyone who mistreats animals, and or fucks him and his crew over for personal gain. it was because Ralph brutally killed an animal just so he didn't have to pay for it, it was innocent and didn't deserve to be killed. that's why tony was pissed.

  • @4:37 jesus tony relax.......was just a horse

  • So Tony gives Ralphie a pass when he beats a girl to death, but when it comes to a horse......

  • He never should have let Tony get him on the ground. Game Over.

  • the old Raid in the eyes trick...

  • got to love watching Ralph suffering

  • I always regretted that Tony never beat Mikey Palmice to death, or Richie Aprile, those were two pricks that pissed Tony off and got killed with guns, Tony kicked Mikey's ass once before and was on the verge of beating the hell out of Richie at the executive game but just forcibly manhandled Richie and moved him out of the way.

  • @riddick7819 wow, what deep insight bro.

  • You must never call a mediterranean dude vegeterian! NEVER!

  • I wonder what Tony would have done to the Godfather for cutting off a horse's head and putting it in his bed?

  • @MaskedMarvyl Michael Corleone would easily kill that out of shape fucker on behalf of his father Vito.

  • jesus wont help u idiot

  • Ralph didn't kill the horse. He said he did because he was annoyed how Tony is more upset about the horse than his son and cause he always hated Tony.

  • @razbigranicu no, he payed a guy to start a fire at the stables

  • Soprano was such a fat, out of shape fuck he wasn't capable of fighting more than about 30 seconds.

  • never, never kill a mobster's pet....

  • I think a lot of ppl overlook the fact that killing Ralphie created a power vacuum because even Johnny Sack finally relented from killing him for insulting his wife. With Ralphie in charge of the Esplanade projects, the situation between NY and NJ was always relatively stable. When Ralphie died, it created a war based on greed between the NY and NJ crews.

  • Fuck Tony Soprano, Tony Montana would burry that cockaroach!

  • I love this scene...It's just so goddamn visceral. I rejoiced when Ralph got it but he was a pretty amazing villian...

  • Yeah Tony is one psycho wackjob. I mean Ralphie's right: Tony be getting down on that beef & sausage. He also be loving the heck outta that prosciutto and the gabagool.

Cows & pigs slaughtered everyday and Tony don't give two $h!t$ of a rat's behind. But one horse dies, and all'a sudden he's Mr. animal-lover.

    Whotta joik...

  • @willia3r The horse was the straw the broke the camels back. That was for Jackie Jr & Tracy.

  • Richie Aprile +Ralph Ciffereto+Feech LaMana +Gay Vito = Tony getting wacked! for sure.. Good thing they found there way to disappear!!!..

  • I just realized, when Ralphie says "It was a fucking horse" he extends the syllable in "horse" enough that it almost sounds like "whore." You combine this with Tony yelling "she was a beautiful, innocent creature!" and you have to at think that it's at least ambiguous whether Tony was avenging Pie-O-My's death or Tracee's.

That's why I love this show: no easy answers.

  • @quixoto it definitely was supposed to a metaphor of sorts for what he wanted to do to him for killing Tracee...fuck Ralph its messed up that Tony did this while Ralph was in mourning about his kid but still dude got out of line too many times

  • @MrKing402 Agree 100%, I knew Ralphie was dead when Tony was looking at Meadow and had a Tracey "flashback."

  • Ralph disliked this video 15 times....

  • ralph's lieing at the start is great. lies like a true sociopath, mimicking sadness at the news of the death.
