Locked diffs would mean all wheels on the diff spin at the same speed. Obviously they are unlocked as the outside tires are pancaked in the air.

maybe you can eliminate the blooning effecr by "welding the diffs up" i dont know what the rc term is but if you created a solid front and rear axle would stop the excessive spin on the wheels that are off the ground.

guy/ basically its called tire ballooning a good hobby grade RC tires/tyres will be stretched in the middle of the tire rubber because it is being spun so fast so quick and because rc tires have no air in them ( w00t ) smart inventors- they stretch from centrifugal force applied... so gl with ur ballonies if you don't glue your rims good please correct me if im wrong ;)
