everyone is dumb, srt stock does 14 flat. a stock b16 can do that, now with 5lbs, ha the srt is done! trust me that guy had some mods done, cause a stock one would have gotten raped even more.
still doesnt make sense, a srt4 with a modded 2.4 L engine on 20 pounds should be the one winning against a 1.6L engine with 5 pounds on a bigger turbo that would take longer to spool...that srt4 is probably bone stock. bigger turbos can hold more psi but like i said, they take longer to spool, and 5 psi wouldnt be worth the use of a t3/t4 turbo.
a proper tune on a turbo setup requires lower compression than N/A, other wise you would blow the engine a lot more easilty...the only other way i would see this happening is if the damn car is gutted to bare metal...idk...

10 pounds off of what? because 10 lbs of boost from a JR super charger, and 10 lbs off a T-25 and 10lbs off a GT35R are all totaly diffrent. 10lbs off a GT35R into a B18C will make WAY more than 225whp..more like 325+ but if your talking about 10lbs off a T-25 or a 16G into a stock B16 useing an MBC and a a Greddy E-manage or Apexi VAFC-II then yea prob only make 225whp.
i highly doubt the civic is running 5psi lol, because i drive an srt 4 and im running only 15psi and i have good races with boosted civics all the time. And i used to own a GSR so theres no hate agianst honda, but thats just hard to belive.

yea... and the turbo on the neon is pushing 4x the boost, and who says the gayons turbo is only half the size of a t3/t4. A 16g pushes more then half the cfms of a t3/t4 turbo. Theres no reason why the neon shouldnt have one, .8 litres more displacement, much more boost no matter what you think. Honda motors produce more power for their size period.

I think you can run at least 8 psi on a b16 and not even worry about internals at all and still drive it every day, as long as you have it tuned right of course. so i think 5psi its a bit short.
i dint have good tires either i was on honda steelies with stock tires lol you can tell im spinning bad all the time. but i could tell your srt4 was prety quick too cauz you kept up very close.
haha that was a fun little race though, now its blown up, but never had a chance to bring it to the track or dyno it, im rebuilding the block for 450whp to 500whp

untuned srt4 @ 20 psi = slow cuz it pulls timing...and its only a 20 psi spike then it drops to like 14 psi by redline

yea the turbo on the civic is also twice as big as the stock srt turbo. So it makes a huge difference.
