Excellent film quality! Len Lye- noticed some Man Ray- Lee Miller influences? Beautifully made. Want to learn more about Len Lye. What else has he done?thanks for posting!
Wonderful book to find is Cocteau on The FIlm. no one writes about film making like he does. Essential. Ever think that the world is a tuxedo and you are a pair of brown shoes?
Hi folks, I enjoyed all the music in this film but when I said 'this song' before, I specifically meant the early version of " I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter". Cooool stuff.
I urge you all to watch the other BFI films as well. I subscribed to them and have enjoiyed the older early-1900 films for over a year. I Love-'em !!

It was done that way in large cities in the U.S. too. Before telephones became popular, local mail was delivered two or three times a day.

And the moral of the story is: if you get your girlfriend's postcode correct then you could end up shagging her in the grass.

Great tonal values, etc. But without fats, I'd space out. (If it is fats)
