  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • Thank you alanjenk1 for your Reply :)

  • Awesome.. Sister Jessie. The song is from your soul. Jesus is surely your strength. Waylon is in your future you will see him again. The Lord Bless you and Keep you.

  • She still sings GREAT.. wow

  • Beautiful x

  • She is a total genius. Singing this well at nearly 70 years old, and she looks GREAT. That 'Ashes' album was classic, and I am thrilled that they have remastered her first three Capitol classic albums ... a three-fer! Support this wonderful woman and do yourself a favor, too. Buy the upcoming three album reissue on Amazon. Waylon will say a prayer for you up in heaven.

  • Great song Jessie. God Bless you. RIP Waylon.

  • I wish I had words to explain the beauty of this work of art

  • @wagnerduane36 ~You have the words. It is a `beautiful' song~ a`work of art'...

  • @wagnerduane36 U have correctly summed it up.....correctly!

  • WOW ,,,JESSIE IS GREAT,,

  • Wow. Great performance. God loves us too much to ever leave us alone.

  • ~Jessi Colter's grief is evident, in this video. ~Her testimony, regarding her relationship with the Living Christ, is equally substantial, in both the writing, and the singing of this song... An outlaw... a Lady!

  • Jessie Colter is still a beautiful women, ( inside and out ). Thanks for the great posting. This is truly inspiring. Oak

  • Waylon was a very fortunate person having Jessi in his life. Sure do miss him and his great unusual voice.

  • thank you ths is great

  • thank you

  • My gf bought me both of Jessi's 1975-76 Capitol albums as a Christmas surprise, and made CDs for me.

Beyond gold. Every song a keeper. Colter wrote her own albums.

She let herself fade out, and there is something disturbing about Jessi's cop-out. But she wanted to be wife & mother...total respect.

But from this interview, one can see that she was conflicted.

    AWESOME woman, singer, writer, talent.

  • Totally Awesome, brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing this.

I don't "get the Henry VIII reference though...... ?

  • Beautiful song; well sung. Jessi Colter is/has always been very classy and talented. The tribute to Henry VIII ? He kept his self busy beheading those who dis-agreed with him and 'the patron' died of syphilis.

  • What a joy to see and hear Jesse. She is a Lady. No better duo than Her and Waylon---Ever.

  • This is awesome!

Anyone know when this program was on?

I would love to see all of this interview

Jessi is an angel what an awesome Lady!

Thanks for posting..I love this album!

  • Nice witness indeed. Jessi is so eloquent and assured. No wonder Waylon adored her, and vice versa.

This is a lovely performance. Jessi's voice remains ideal and, best of all, original--the back-up singer, Carter Robinson, is obviously quite good, but that style of singing is so common.

She's very good and gifted, but it really shows how legendary Jessi Colter is as a writer and singer.
