Incredibly cute! Congrats on training the little guy. Can't help but wonder, if you and I could have the jumping ability that this chimpunk does - scaled up for our size - wouldn't that mean we'd be jumping / flying over buildings? What strong little critters they are! :-)

2 peanuts should be given a chipmunk or squirrel each day as it is bad for their health especially their bones, but on the internet you will find out all kinds of information about what to feed them, i feed a wild squirrell in the woods and i only give him what is good for him, to many peanuts deplete the calcium in their bones

never wood, they can knaw right through it, and thick wire bars is the best, my chipmunk loves the hampster wheel, u know the ones they run on, and ropes ( verry thivck) .bird cages do well also, tree branches work, hamster igloos, they love them! the bars or squares cant have gaps any bigger than 1 inch on cage, they are escape artists!

Chipmunks need a big avairy-type cage which is couple of metres high. It can be made of wire or metal. It should have plenty of logs and ropes and things to climb on inside it. They also need to be let out of the cage to let them run around.
