It's because of the anti-lag system. It feeds fuel to the engine all the time even when you're not in the throttle. This system minimizes the turbo-lag and keeps it spinning. The bang comes when you lift the throttle and the fuel just goes through to the exhaust and blows up there.

@ntc86 at this level more or less the cars are the same. The only awd cars are factory made is Subaru. The rest have to adjust. The convertion have to be done in order to be competitive.

the problem with Subaru is that since they change phylosophy they went down steam. Unfortunately according to inside (?) technology doesnt sell...to the ppl.
