it's prob your mods making your car sloww... doesnt make since right? well the on board computers correct for timing and fuel mapping and blah ect.... basically it retards your timing since it is not set for the new breathing mods so now you need to go out and get a technosquare reflash (google it) or other chips like Unichp or Haltechs and instead of losing hp youll probably gain with those mods 16-20hp
Damn thats crazy you should launch it at around 3000 most people dont know that and launch it higher and fuck up the clutch. If u do it at more than like 4500 and u just get more wheelspin. You should probably get somethin like a centerforce street clutch if they wear out that fast
You can set your rev limiter warning light to whatever RPM you want it to flash at (press and hold odometer button and tap through the rpm you want to set at). I have an 05 and you can hit 7000 safely. The engine will bog out at 7300 so do it right or don't try it.
the 07 coupes are slower than the sedan because of the engines...youll notice the 07 sedan has the new gauge design with the white and purple (blue on camera)...the sedan definitely hauls faster than this though, my 08 g35X (AT) is faster than my 05 "rev-up" coupe (MT)...and to add insult to injury the engine on the sedan sounds like it has so much more balls, im gonna need to put a new intake in the coupe soon to match the pretty loud exhaust (compared to sedan)
are you running flat out there, i timed your 0-60 and it's like 7 seconds?? you should be able to run about 5 sec with those mods? maybe you need to drop the clutch at like 5k or so?
Yeah i know i can do better, but dump the clutch at 5K? are you serious? There's no way i'm taking that advice, 5k will generate too much wheel spin. Sorry bud but thank for watching.
You are right, I tried it last night and I got TONS of axle tramp at 3k clutch dump... not sure if that is normal. I will post my vid so we can compare.
i've got a stock g35 that me and my pops are wokrin on...got it up to 140 and it feels like it still has PLENTY of hp to use =)..love it..does some pretty sick donuts with the vdc off too =)
Please post up an exterior video, to get a better idea of what the exhaust sounds like. Thank you. Im deciding between stillen, hks, borla, and maybe keeping it stock. And also is the 14 hp gain and 17 ft/lbs noticable.

I guess it's A/T coz my G 6M/t goes much faster to 200 KM/H than yours. additionally 2003 G35 addition is much better than other years !
