Don't expect a new release until the end of 2012, or possibly January/February of next year. The dynarec is undergoing tons of re-work. That much has been mentioned by the Wiibrew team.

If you didn't know, they've already tested.."Conkers Bad Fur Day" at 2.3 FPS which is about halfway decent and looks promising. I don't know if that's one of the games you're looking forward to playing, but it is in high demand.

The Wii64 is not a completed project. It's still in its Beta stages. They have a compatibility list posted around. Conker will not work for anyone. Hopefully, we'll have a smooth version by the end of this year. Possibly the beginning of the next.

I tried to put Conker's Bad Fur Day on my SD card then load it in the emulator. It says "loading ROM partially into mem2" then when I click play game the screen goes black for like a split second but never lets me play the game.

is it even possible to play gaems online with these N64 emulators? i know Project 64 for your COMPUTER had the ability to let you play online(can't remember hwo it did it) but the P64 on the wii currently does not have anyway to do this...or really any emulators.

also one other question, where can i find a rom for quest64 that is NOT messed up -_-; all the ones i find have weird purple text and other graphics issues...

For some reason Super Mario 64 doesn't work at all for me. Fortunately it plays Ocarina of Time fairly well, but I've never played it once where polygons didn't explode all over the screen. Also, apparently Hyrule has six suns now 0_o.

this is working great! But my mario is a bit weird, its like he repeats the action you do. If i wanna crouch i press and hold Z but he keeps redoing the animation, doing the backflip is nearly impossible. Also if i hold A he keeps jumping. Its a bit glitchy, but its the best out there! Perfect dark works, but not good. I hope they will release another version soon!

Hi, i think that every time you enter wii64 you have to put auto save in settings. and then it will save you the games. i'm new with this, but i have saved super smash without a problem, try that if not write me back!! greeting

Err, it's neither? Notice the fat black bars left and right? The video is widescreen, the games are not. (Zelda does blend in horizontal black bars, but only for cut scenes, notice how the whole 4:3 area is filled white at the end).

You can play with wiimote and nunchuck. That's the benefit of it being an emulator. The N64 games Nintendo sells in virtual console don't allow it. Of course, for now they are still working better, but wii64 will improve.

It took a year for beta1 to get released. Hopefully beta2 will not take quite as long, but we are still talking about a long-term project here. Even SNES emulators are not "complete", but get continually improved. A N64 emulator is much more demanding.

you download the app. you copy the app to your sd card to it is in \apps\appname\boot.dol (if the dol is not named boot.dol, rename it). Then put the card in your wii and start homebrew channel. It should list the app and you can start it.

MegaMan 64 runs perfectly on this! except most explosions, lasers, and shockwaves are missing, when you reach the second part of the final boss, turn on FB textures, or else one of his attacks will force the system to a code dump or freeze.

It's now full speed. It can play a LOT of games, with just a few issues. For example, mario 64 rarely goes from mono to stereo (and vice versa) for a second, The same happens with star fox. At banjo kazooie the eyes go completly white sometimes. But it's never really something big. I have try'd like 30 games, and they all work great. The games i've played the most are Goldeneye (Yes, the multiplayer works.), and super mario 64 (only the beginning screen goes from 60 to 35 FPS. The rest is awe.
