Evo has a bigger screen which is awesome and live wall papers. iPhone has better interface for apps and more enjoyable gaming experience. Evo camera personally sucks. iPhone is a 5megapixel with better quality then the Evo 8megapixel it's just a fact of using both an seeing it.... He's not being biased
HTC Evo 4g has more cooler features than Apple's iPhone 4 I know that the evo has a few gliches but you can put wigets and live wallpapers iPhone 4 can do live wallpapers but a jailbreak is required and that will slow down the iPhone 4 the HTC evo 4g you have more choices when Apple restricts file managers (you can but jailbreak is required) and stuff like that where the evo you can get apps that can customize keyboards and more Apple you can't customize without a jailbreak
My two cents worth: EVO has other advantages -- not the least of which is more reliable network service besides ATT (I had many dropped calls with ATT). Other possible advanges of the EVO: 8 user Wifi hotspot, you don't have to be tied to Itunes either (I use Rhapsody). One thing that I like of the Iphone is that it is both GSM and CDMA. I don't think that the EVO supports GSM --certainly Sprint does not but their customer service is quite good.
the evo has soo much more functionality and better performance but the iphone just has the beautiful screen, more attractive form factor, and better camera.

the iphone doesnt actually multitask- it just pauses the apps so when you go back to them you are on the same screen and the app starts running again. on the EVO, and all other android phones, the app continues to run all of its services without slowing down. if you try to do this with the jailbroken app backgrounder you will find that the iphone slows down after only two apps are running. on my HTC desire S i have about twenty apps open at one time and there is no battery loss or slowdown
To be quite honest no matter how you compare them the iphone will always come on top. Apple has been experimenting and tweaking its products a lot longer than the Android and the phones and displays are clearer and just all around crisper with the iphone. I love Apple but I can't afford an iphone anymore :( If you can afford it, it's the best way to go. It's like comparing a dell laptop to a Mac Desktop, Apple wins. It's as simple as that. The fact is both phones are great. But one thing that's left unsaid is the NETWORK that it's on. I myself have Verizon and the iPhone 4. I had sprint and the evo and I constantly didn't receive calls or texts due to the network, what's the point of having a futuristic phone on a stone age network?.
The EVO has a 8mgp camera and with the factory class 2 SD card its shot in 720p but is saved in like 480.. Once the card is upgraded to a class 6 memory card its almost crystal clear.

Honestly, the screen resolution is not a problem for me. The viewing angles are the least of my worries. I just want the finger response to be smooth and very accurate. I also want to use a real stylus when writing (no capactive touch phones are capable of this).

The Evo is multi tasking is way better the iphone 4G. Sure you consume more battery in Evo but you can cutomize you phone better and have widgets in the hTC. Htc's processer and internet is way faster than the iphone. The iphone takes longer to load a pagr and has no adobe flash player. iphone just has high resolution dispay and batter life. Everything else Evo 4G has better.

Honestly, the screen resolution is not a problem for me. The viewing angles are the least of my worries. I just want the finger response to be smooth and very accurate. I also want to use a real stylus when writing (no capactive touch phones are capable of this).

You dont have to buy the music from Itunes. you can put songs onto the Iphone if you so desire from your computer without ever purchasing any of them from Itunes. atleast know what you're on about. and as for which phone is the best? each to their own. if this person likes it well then leave it at that if you like the Evo? thats good. personally i always thought those of whom try and have the biggest phone always be attempting to compensate for other areas :)

Well obviously you dont comprehend that you can rip music from your 'purchased' cd's to your pc and put them onto your Itunes rather easily. i have accomplished such and if that is beyond you then obviously the more technical side of things is bound to be more troublesome for you :)

Every computer has the software there. its called Windows Media Player and for Mac users they got Itunes which can do the same job of ripping the music from the cd to your computer and buying the cd's yes so it is legal or downloading from the internet to get to your pc. how else would you? and with the Iphone 4 you can download music as well. so what exactly is your point? your arguement is rather pathetic

@purplestripedsocks12 Honestly it all depends on how you use it. He talks about having 9 apps up will kill the battery and it does. So don't do it. There is no point to having tat many up. Also, having a live wallpaper will kill the battery so use a regular photo or whatever as a background. It charges pretty fast and is reasonable. I have an Evo and had an Iphone before this, don't listen to this guy. Evo is better.

0:50-0:55, you can put folders in Evo too. Not too bad of a review, but bring someone's Iphone to the table, one thats be customized, and bring mine... I have my Evo customized it has Evo Fresh OS on it, Swype, ADW Themes/Home Smack, Advanced Task Killer, and so forth. I do like Iphones though, this is like the console wars, ps3 this 360 that, honestly dont care I have Sprint therefore I chose Evo since we dont have Iphones haha

I hate people who just say the iPhone's screen is better. if you have them both side by side yes the HTC Evo 4g looks very washed out, but when you have it by itself it looks stunning. on the other hand you KNOW that the evo's screen is bigger. no comparison needed. Oh and I like how the battery life is "crappy", did you take any notice to the LIVE wallpaper? and the constantly running widgets that constantly update? if your going to point out good things on one phone point out ones on the other

The Evo is multi tasking is way better the iphone 4G. Sure you consume more battery in Evo but you can cutomize you phone better and have widgets in the hTC. Htc's processer and internet is way faster than the iphone. The iphone takes longer to load a pagr and has no adobe flash player. iphone just has high resolution dispay and batter life. Everything else Evo 4G has better.

everything runs smoother on the iphone ios and that applies to all idevices(ipdo touch,ipad,iphone)
Android powered phones lack this, and the user interface lacks convenience and smoothness. Their are no transitions, no ease of use to switch between applications. Consideration of all these factors aren't taken in, and thats why iphone beats android
