@10mintwo Well the WW2 marker discs peg the top scale of the Ludlum as it only reads upto 200USv/hr. As you know scintillators are best suited to measuring very low levels of radiation. The correct scale for the model 3 with 44-3 (202-570) would only measure 50USv/hr at top of x100 scale!! and this is with reference to Iodine125. Difficult to find a low enough background count to make the lower scales work - the background levels would peg the meter on x0.1 and 1 !!!
