'DrDre', logistically, "defending" any position with force of arms is nearly impossible. (A)DC is a veritable "gun free zone" so sneaking defense worthy weapons into the 10x10 is problematic and illegal. (B) You'd want at LEAST 1 "defender" in hiding per 1 "RP marcher" and either way our numbers will likely be too small for even those odds to mean anything. With a large enough crowd, force of arms will be unnecessary; not to mention it'd be sore diplomacy. Not trying to be a sheep, just safe.

I can't just get on a plane and go to Washington, I'm not even 18. I love this idea of Marching on DC for Ron Paul and I really think all the major cities should hold marches on the same day for people who can't get to DC.
