I agree, during the late 90s, marami naman magagaling pa na homegrown talents, pero nasapawan sila ng mga fil ams and fake pinoys who couldnt get a job elsewhere at inagawan sila ng spot sa PBA. when the league reaches its 40 years by 2015, hopefully the careers of taulava, Menk and many other fil ams are over, the PBA should start all over again, not that we are closing the door on fil ams pero sana mas priority ng team owners ang mga local players from UAAP and NCAA.

Just because those fil-ams learned how to ball here in the US, doesn't make them any better. It's not where you learned to play the game, it's how you play it that counts.

The PBA needs to go back to it's roots. Lesser fil-ams, draft more local kids from the UAAP and NCAA. Those fil-ams don't give a rat's ass about the PBA. In turn, the collegiate ranks need to develop their players both on and off the court. If you look at the starting line-up for Ginebra in this game (David, Hizon, Locsin, Feihl and Aquino), they were all collegiate stand-outs. Granted the fact that Hizon is a fil-am forerunner, he did play at Ateneo for a season and carried the Eagles.
