Cutting an artery is not an immediate man stopper, cutting whit a knife is not the best choice in a life and death situation, and I would call any situation were a knife is needed, a life and death situation. You need something longer to get at the internal organs for that. A longer fixed blade is better at this. Or a medium sized folder. That little belt buck knife is really only a tool that could be used as a weapon in a pinch. Advertising it as only a weapon is just wrong.

I went to the gun show today and bought a belt buckle knife from "Dan Valois" for 25 bucks(you can get it cheaper online) it is actually pretty good is not just the buckle is a hole belt. My opinion is that is someting less in my pocket and i wont forget it at home! check it out you might like it ! AND YES HE DOES SOUNDS LIKE TIM ALLEN !

Iv'e Had mine 8 yrs now. custom made with my initials in silver and an Indian Chiefs head on it. Im a Trucker and used it for cutting rope and boxes. Best knife I ever owned, and worth the price, The craftmanship is unbeatable! I wish I could get a new blade, I have written for one but never got a reply. I use it so much, that the blade is wearing out. My fault for constantly sharpening the blade.But as far as Im concerned, you will not find a better tool, and such high Quality! Great job Greg!!

Aw c'mon people. The guy made something himself and used his mind and skills to put it out there. Some of his models look less than obvious...although I am not into skulls and flames, the basic models are fine. And the price for something that is a knife like this and a holds your pants up isn't too outrageous. 440 steel not the best, but it cuts. I find mine to be easy to wear and doesn't take up room in my pocket. Easy to access.  Sounds like a lot of envy or kids here.

@kthorn612 I never liked any buckle knives, but of all the buckle knives I have ever seen this one is the best looking and with the best access. Most buckle knives have a weird non-traditional handle which is unwieldy and increases the chances of someone possibly taking it or knocking it out of the hand. This more traditional handle will be held firmer than most buckle knife handles.

Would love to see the magnetic buckle holder concept used for some Spyderco designs and other materials.

I bought a few of his knives. They are excellent. I wear them around work and nobody knows they are there. Depends which ones you get though.  He has some that look very obvious like it's a weapon on your belt but I got the skull with flames and the american flag and those don't look like a knife or anything. Very stealthy and very fast/easy to deploy. You'll never have to use the thing on anyone The sound and speed of it appearing in your hands will shock even the most determined criminal.
