  • มวยไชยา

  • ppl need brush up on their traditional MA for one no tradtional fighting method has defensive moves its is a passive mode u put ur self in. that why McDojos teach karate block defensively not offensively which is y they dont work.

  • Hellopoko wing chun is great but more brutal moves in chaiya like breakin knee caps can end a fight in a second where speed cannot drop in a instant, its fast but it takes time. In chaiya its instant.

  • @dream2kareem wing chun stomp kicks falesafe is to step down across the kneed and fuk the joint infact all martial arts the have some long history of striking. the concept of brutal is subjective. it is different from effective because th term effective is context. adjectives should be thrown around losely.

  • i like chaiya :D bloody hurts though!! check out my chaiya vdos :D

  • hmmm i think if muay thai chaiya or the whole and original muay thai could be learned by a martial artist, it could be used in an mma sport.. what do you think guys? i mean its not just striking, in here you could take down an opponent and then "destroy" them on the ground... just like in the movie Yamada: the samurai of Ayothaya... man its brutal... I lovee muay thai...

  • @mYgo24 the problem is context traditional martial arts is useless competitively one the rules and equipment make traditional training methods useless look out how different traditional British fisticuffs is from modern boxing neither will work in each others turf and if it did it would not be as effect tive. so even if chaiya were to go to the mma world and were to work his sports counter part would still be more effective.

  • Chai ya is in the Southern province of Thailand ,not the Northern DUDE. Others Kru prang school is in Bangkok this is a fiction.

  • 3:37 thats that chan dude

  • ultimate style WING Chaiya that would be speedy

  • @hellopoko Yeah Wing Chaiya the Ultimate art

  • @iwiMaori exactly wing chun has the fasttest attack i would say muay chaiya has the best and fastest stand up defence if you could combine the ridiculous speed of there blocks with say wing chuns chain punch that would be off the wall

  • @hellopoko chain punching is the poor mans wing chun there much more to it than that rather the cycling of attacks is a concept not a move. i jkd it is both a move and a concept. in terms of speed +range jkd would win. but in terms of clinch range figthing jkd ppl whould have to brush up on some sensativity drills.

  • i learned muay thai and its awesome !

  • Thats the true art, ritual and lifestyle. I´ve been there and you can feel the ants and spiders .. in the jungle. The real training and history - Muay Boran & Mae Mai

  • @Jaeloko I was there for training as well, you forgot to mention that you can and many people often do... eat the ants and spiders too! lol

  • this is not for sport or entertainment.

  • " i feel like we're infiltrating a ninja camp" what a faggot

  • 'I think i'm ready'

  • Fighting with a Chaiya Boxer is like attacking the pointy outershell of a durian fruit. OUCH !!!!

  • People always say all martial arts are good, that none is above others, but I clearly see this one as superior to others

  • @MehdiGlz Explain what it is that you see in detail please.

  • @MehdiGlz Boran/Chiaya, TRUE Ninjutsu, and so on. Also ninjutsu is often propogated and the schools aren't even true ninjutsu but simply karate and stuff. Though karate can be very good, it's trash nowadays now. karate is supposed to be devastating and explosive. But yeah, some say arts arent above others, so your saying if I taught an art where you fight with your pinky, it would be equal to this? Though it's possible for a high leveled martial artist of a lower art to beat another person.

  • Every child in Thailand knows the story of Nai Khanom Thom...

all these guys could say about this " master "

" so violent, so powerful "

You guys don't understand a damn about Martial Arts!

  • The urgent matter in my opinion is conveying this muaychaiya to current thai boxers which they need to use this art in their future professional MMA. For the sake of their

    national art and themself.

  • the deadliest art of all

  • This is the technique they use in the movie, ongbak!!

  • i love Muay thai too

  • I guess you americans wuth your fast food and high sugar diet are feeding lots of hungry mosquitoes and bugs...lol..too funny

  • better than being a canuck whose country is only mentioned for a few weeks every four years during the winter olympics =)

  • A 3-2 win in overtime is far from humiliation, especially considering the player who won the game for you has to make his living in America for the Pittsburgh penguins. As to your other comments, while some of our methods may be controversial, they are not to create fame. we still stand as the most powerful country in the world and therefore, we can do whatever we like. also, try learning how to spell and putting together a response that does not make you look like a sixth grader, thanks.

  • And by the way, weren't we the country who won the medal count? Beating Germany by 7 and Canada by 11. Well, I guess coming in 3rd place on your own soil is not too embarrassing

  • Comment removed

  • In competition, teams or, in this case, countries, are scored by overall points, and you got third. congrats, your country sucks. crosby has to make his living in america because canada does not have enough money to support an entire league; otherwise, he would be just another canuck who does not mean shit. your country has no relevance in the world and is just a joke in general. that is why no one takes your country seriously.

  • you keep using the same phrase "male ass-rape of Muslim civilian detainees" to show that you have some type of grasp on current events, but instead you show that you're very ignorant and small-minded. by the way, nice job on trying to attack my character, when the truth is I could easily kick your ass

  • America won the winter olympics, stop trying to deny it. lame ass keyboard warrior who tries to talk shit through youtube. if you dont like the american military and what some of them do, why dont you do something about it? instead, you bitch about it on a comment page because all you do is talk. try sounding like youre educated, its called sodomy, not ass raping, retard. people may not like what America does, but they cant do anything to stop us. so go masturbate to wayne gretzky faggot.

  • @Tapout334 fuck u go suck ur dads dick

  • And isnt all of this coming from a guy whose country recieve their independence just over 30 years ago? wow, try accomplishing something or gaining some sort of power before your attack another country

  • Comment removed

  • i dont have a fucking clue about what youre talking about in reference to hockey because few Americans give a fuck about that sport. i doubt it was used in the world court--which holds no prevalence by the way. you make up bullshit "facts" to support your lame ass argument, which you've veered off on so many times that you just spew incoherent nonsense from your cum-guzzling mouth. get an education so you put together a logical response, cunt.

  • Comment removed

  • prevalence means effectual. try to expand your fucking vocabulary. i doubt the world court used "love affair", again you trying to spin things in your favor. the hockey comment was in reference to youre senseless babel about America's attempt to obtain other players. youve chosen to delete all your comments, rendering you fallacies impossible to point out. You seem very uneducated and I will just go ahead and accept the fact that youre a lesser man, unwilling to engange in a reasonable debate.

  • @Tapout334 fuck u!! u know nothing pussy!! FCUK!!!

  • can i come to this place and be taught by perticular teacher.. what should i do to be here?

  • peccato ke è in italiano enon si capisce!!!!!

    la muay è bellissima

  • muay boran is a new name from the 90s to cover all old muay thai ie lopburi thasao chaiya and korat.....arjan kaya .bbk thailand

  • The grapplings &strikings are nicely blended to be a self defense art for realfights and it's also be a sport if we set up proper rule.

Current in thailand a new stadium is setting a pro mma for thais and muaychaiya could be participated there.

    NIce starting,good luck.

  • lol did he said "leech infested water"

  • LOL @ daddys approval =D

  • First hand experience training in Thailand? Yes. With Khru Praeng? His instructor in Thailand has only brought ads and claims of superiority to serious discussions, as you could read on the forum, and had been answered by foreign and Thai marial artists. All the best to you too.

  • I trained in Thailand and in Muay Chaiya too (although I am a beginner in this art). My teacher studied with Kru Tong too, and with several other traditional teachers. But why do all these teachers keep it low and quiet ? Why don't they show off and boast ?

Why don't they claim to be this and that ?

And why nobody mentions Khru Ketr and his students who are still alive and active ?

  • martial arts isn't about fame and fortune.

techniques that they teach are probably too dangerous for others to learn (there are a lot of assholes in the world). These instructors probably select their students.

  • I agree that this is not the forum for discussion of this topic, so this is my last post. Sincerely, all the best with your training, Tee Sok. :-)

  • and I am not jumping on any bandwagon I know the situation about Muay Chaiya and other systems in Thailand, perhaps if you will log on defend you will see what I am talking about. I post there under the same nick

  • I know, Tee Sok - I have read it all, and on other formums too. You say that you *know* the situation. Really? From who? First hand experience? Do the likes of some of those who post against Kru P forcefully know him? It seems that you think you have knowledge, but certainly have no understanding. Tee Sok, you *are* jumping on the band wagon, sorry to say. If you have no first hand experience, then you are dealing inconjecture and runour. Simple :-)

  • Ubekaa, as I said I please ask you to log on defend . net and search for the thread called "mai muay thai chaiya DVD by Khru Praeng " in the thaiboxing forum. Youtube is not the best place to discuss this and you can post a reply on the thread on defend . net if you wish to have a serious discussion about this.

  • Hi again, I couldn't help but post one more small thing:

Tee Sok, by the way you degrade Kru Preang (the matser in the video), you insinuate that he lacks sufficient knowledge and is some kind of 'scam artist' or faker, as you mention that he is 'only after fame and money'. I'd just like to point out the he was the closest and most informed of any of Kru Tong's students. I think that any of the other 'valid teachers' that you mention would be quick to reinforce this. :-)

  • Tee Sok - I wonder how much you really know about what you so strongly suggest; namely, that the guys in the video are 'after money and fame' - you've got to be joking me! If you have ever been to the main 'school' where these guys train, you'll instantly realise that money and fame are not part of the equation. The hilariously sad things is that you jump on a bandwagon when you have no experience with the subjects of your post! Have you ever trained with or spoken to any of the guys in the vid?

  • great art basically an offense tech but how is it work vs aikido??????????????? offense vs defense interesting ¡¡¡¡

  • Double check these guys, you can read a topic called '"Mai" Muay Thai Chaiya DVD by Kru Preang' if you check on the thaiboxng forum of defend. net You will read what is going on with Muay Chaiya. This is a commercial thing, these guys are after money and fame. there are other valid Muay Chaiya teachers in Thailand who can actually fight and teach and don't want to be a prima donna like these guys. Check the forum if you don't believe my words, I can't post the link here.

  • This clips is on the History channel's website ppl

  • they dont do side commentary anymore

  • makes me proud to be thai :)

  • that happens all around the world mate. it doesnt originate from thailand so i doubt the thai's can take credit for that.

    your just a hater :P

  • @KensaiZen what you know about martial art?

  • @KensaiZen So does karate? But karate is still a japanese martial art.

  • Same here, "KensaiZen" ! Same here =)

  • o gosh you again? shut the fuck up u sound like a little kid trying to get approval from his daddy LOL

  • Thank you for posting this great and very interesting movie clip of this old martial art!

  • That's incredible! Muay Thai Chaiya inspired my countries development of Pradal Serey!!

  • The teacher in this segment is really impressive to me.

he seems to have the depth of heart, and the

to not leave the spiritual/mind part of his study and teaching.

And, at the same time, being open minded and (extremely) skilled to be a great fighter.

Seems this is something that's dying as big egos are flooding the martial arts with The MTV g-rap-attitudes.

Really happy I found this clip.

    Thank you so much!

  • i love this show. so many fighting moves and such. thanks.

  • aaaaaamazing
