I noticed a lot of hate against Pope Benedict on this comments page. In my oppinion, he will probably surpass Pope John Paul II in greatness. Pope Benedict is doing what a pope should do, bringing unity back to the Church. Creating ordinariates for Anglicans and freeing the Tridentine Mass from indult are the best moves by a pope in decades. I have nothing against the Novus Ordo Mass either.

It´s sad to be Catholic and see the Vatican lost in its love for money, luxury, protocol and academic preaching. When the Gospel is preached from a position of luxury with academic words people stop listening because they can´t relate to it, unless they are middle-upper class people of course. They mainly focus on sexual morality, and have forgotten the poor and the outcast. Their preaching to people in power has absolutely failed... a prostitute deserves heaven more than them. I don't believe the Nazi BS, but I'd be more inclined to respect him if he would listen to the people who came halfway around the world to speak to him about the children (girls as well as boys) who were and are being molested by priests. There is a film out called "Deliver Us From Evil" about this.
