Ok so im having trouble trying to record if iv got an rpg-8 loaded??? As iv got some devices locked to pther instruments every time I play something the rpg-8 starts running over it...

How can I just use a rpg-8 to one instrument so I can record that???

i only use this thing to dup a track lol. here is how to do it:

1. create new rpg8

2. move your notes on the rpg8 track

3. turn around with tab, remove any CV connections and create a spider CV

4. connect gate cv out with spider A and note cv out with spider B

5. connect the spider outs (gate/note) to the synths you wanna drive

6. turn around again and turn appregiator part of rpg-8 OFF, octave shift to 0, NO hold, velocity manual

someone please tell me why the fuck Reasons arpeggiator wont stay in time despite the fact the notes are snapped perfectly to the sequencer how in the fuck do you get it to change from note to note smoothly without loosing time?

hi, i have a guitar but of course it dosent have any midi interface in it, but i have a behringer mixer, can i hook the guitar to the behringer and then to reason? i hear you could only record directly into reason if you have a midi interface, does a mixer have that?

If you want to use a live guitar track in reason. first record it in audio recording software and save to a .wav file then import it in a sampler. hope this helps. peace.

you can chop ur steps when sequencing cmnom you can do do that...and if its not a plug in, what was he connecting to the bass synthetizer. Aparently the one who doesnt know how to use it properly its you you are a computer musician

Reason has a large variety of very good pianos out of the box. I'm running XP flawless, can't speak for vista, whatever brand just go for as much ram and fastest processor you can swing. Ableton Live and Reason is a great combination, go for it.

You can import wav or aif files using

NN19 or BETTER NNXT. :)

Those and DR Rex are the audio input ways.
