People make good money on busy weekends, hanging out right there, ready to pull folks out for a couple of hundred bucks a crack.

thats crazy... we go to pismo all the time...the last time we went i saw a lexus and a couple of hondas (passenger cars) get stuck. with the lexus the tide was coming in and it was starting to go under but the tow truck pulled it out just in time...it just doesnt make since if you dont have a 4x4 to even try something that would kill ur car

It is a water outlet to the ocean that you have to cross to get to the dunes. I have seen that thing take out many trucks after a rain and high tide it just swallows up trucks like it is nothing.
