lol, This is a breed thing, my pure bred aussie does this, not often and not long but yeah, she's only 1 yr of age. I've also got a mix but she doesn't do it. :-/ She does a different smile though. It is cute though!

I've got an Aussie Mix that smiles a lot, but she can't hold it as long as your dog as it makes her sneeze almost immediately. It takes a smart dog to imitate a human expression of friendliness - when showing the teeth in dog language is anything but friendly.

@AnimeOnion Aussies are definately country dogs as they are bred to work livestock. My parents have 2 of these and they are very high energy dogs! Aussie + small apartment = bull in china shop, lol!

Australian Shepherds have a double coat, so they can shed quite a bit. Their coats are easily maintained with regular brushing. I have not had any trouble with Sydney shedding, but it really depends on the individual dog.
