@johnmonk66 Nope, this video is a concept, an ambitious one, but so were concepts behind every great leap in technology. There's an undenyable attidude behind hard work, determination and improvement and that's optimism. That's why you're here commenting that it's a fairytail while they're working towards proving the impossible. This IS a video about things that exist now; overpopulation, pollution, waste. They just happen to share places with a future concept.

Most people are still too negative, even though knowing the obvious, they still subscribe to the old paradigms, and seem to keep waiting for politicians to do something about their lives... dream on!
Get off the grid, be self sustainable and you will have what you paid for. You are what you eat!
People only complain, but don't realize that their choice contributes for the whole thing!..

Dear PhilipsDesign, nice video, well done, BUT! There is always a but, sorry! I do not who know who U R? but like 1,000s of others U suggest the obvious, what needs 2 B done. What I, we need is solutions! If U can only state the obvious, get in the Q take a ticket with the rest of us!

No one would ague with that, @Templemain, but it's also known that it's better to make a small step in the right direction than walk a mile to the wrong one; this movie, and this project, are about direction setting, they question the direction we took, and suggest to think about an alternative one.

Dear centralasian, U asked me for a solution. While it's not palatable to some the solution is simple. Genetically modify our selves over time to become smaller not bigger as has been the norm through out evolution. We no longer need to be big to defend ourselves, we have no natural enemies but our selves. If we could be just 30 centimeters high but with the same intelligence the Earth could support 50 times the number of humans we have now. We don't need to be BIG! to survive.
