But don't worry about not getting a decent mix. In fact, do not make the music you want to make, but experiment with small idea's and build from there. If you do that, and you take in account the limitations you have, you'll get the same stuff as I have made.
This is some deep stuff! Sounds real trippy through my headphones. I have found strange things with the drums too, I think it must be down to the fact that the oscillators don't reset there phase with the envelopes and therefore don't always render the same, its even worse when using noise on osc 2. Anyway, nice work! Nice vid software too.
I think you managed to out do yourself this time! This is really good! I amazes me what the DS10 Synth is capable with having only 2 channels and a drum line. Just curious but have you ever tried a 3/4 or 6/8 beat on the DS-10? I know it's meant for 4/4 beats but it'd be intresting o hear.
Thanks :) Its not really techno music though, although I can think that people would classify this as being techno. Techno has a 4/4 drum pattern. This is more electro/dnb though. But that doesn't really matter. As long as you like it. :D
as usual great music, but now a great video clip to go with it! this is a lot melodically simpler than you're other work, it really works for this song.
The video really is only up for a few minutes, so you catched it very quickly. I now also added my comments and a DL to the mp3 version. :) Be sure to wait till the video is fully processed to get a better quality video. (its HD quality)
looks like Tempest 2000 :) and the sound would fit to it, aswell

connect your ds' audio output to the line-in at your computer so you can record it with a software like audacity.

Hmm, that could be the case. Strange that after I edit it and just play it for 4 times, it sounds good, but if I play the song itself, it doesn't.

Yes. In fact, my song called Walking uses 3/4 (literally XD)
I'm glad you like it :)

Oh yeah! I forgot about that one! It reminded me of Kakariko Village from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

wow man great job.....great visuals to go along with son perfect match...........do you have a delay on the snare? Or the overall mix? Nice job

The snare doesn't have have a delay set. Synth 1 and 2 do have a delay.

This is what YouTube tells me: This video is still being processed. Video quality may improve once processing is complete. :)
