He was only 29 years old when we traded him and he has had 3 very solid years now in Baltimore. I'm happy for him though.
ill let you know that luke scott is one of he nicest overall men i have ever met not to mention the nicest baseball ihave ever met. i am fortunate enough to go to the same trainer as him and i get to occasionally spnd a day with him and it is truly a blessing. he works so hard and is a great christian and watches his nutrition so closely it is insane. he is definately one of my heroes and him being traded to the orioles is a blessing. the astros didnt appreciate what they had but baltimore will.
@lilhottie12323 Luke got caught up in a numbers game in Houston. We had Lane, Lee, Pence, Bourn and Scott. Lane wasn't resigned but one of the 4 had to be traded because all 4 deserved 100 plus starts a season. Sadly Luke got traded and we rented Tejada for 2 years. Tejada played very well andf hit close to 300 both years but I would have rather have had Scott here over Tejada.
i'm glad he is with the O's.. he is a great player.. the Astros are a good team and i would hate to see luke leave the O's.. i hate when players get traded.. it's sad :-( but luke is a valuable asset anywhere he is and any team would be lucky to have him

Btw, on the list showing all the players axed in the off-season there are two additional. Biggio retired and Williams was let go and bought out of his contract. He then retired.
I was so excited seeing him come up out of the farm system and he was the most heartbreaking trade all off-season. I saw sooo much potnetial in him to be great. He will be a well-known player someday and I wish the 'stros would have held on to him. My fav player by far. I wish him the best in Baltimore. Heck, I might even start getting into some Oriole baseball to watch him play. I don't have an american league team yet.
Notice at :26 seconds his back foot doesn't pivot. I have no idea how he hits like this....try and swing without your back foot pivoting. Not bashing him...I grew up with him...great guy. Worked really hard to get where he is......hitting .500 right now too. Keep it going Luke.
