That's an extremely gnarly descent, I was lucky enough to make it down cleanly at the same race back in 2004. Those lava rocks are super sharp and can tear away flesh in an instant. I've seen many xterra crashes, being a part of some of them myself, but I don't think I've seen anyone get back on their bikes that fast after a crash other than maybe a handful of the professional riders.
