I wanna see their review of Bioshock Infinate when it comes out.

Lighting and Voice acting/sound was great and the weapons arsenal went to a whole new level of destruction and merdurous rampage.

The enemies were something like I, personally, have never seen before and the moral descisions are rather hard. Some points of the phenomonal storyline just pull at you heartstrings, and I love how there are alternate endings. Length was perfect.

Bioshock will remain my favorite game forever.

Also, "jazz age" music is a little misleading as the music isn't all jazz at all. It's mostly popular music circa pre-1960.

This single player adventure reminds me of the old fashioned FPS games like the Half Life series, which was fucking amazing ...

Who hijacked your plane?

Why were you created?

Why were you to meant to return to Rapture?

If all Ryan wanted to create was a free world, then what went wrong?

All in all, I think it was a good game. Had good characters, brilliant voice acting, and a great twist. However, there is a lack of depth in story-telling and cinematics, which separates it from the all-time greats like Metal Gear Solid.

1.) The player (Jack) hijacks the plane, the note on the package says "Would you kindly not open untill..." It was the coordinates for rapture. Inside the package was the gun shown in the "Would you kindly" scene. Ryan explains during the twist that you (Jack) think you have memories but it was all scripted by Fontaine.

2.) Ryan had an affair with Jasmin whom he kills in Eve's Garden. In need of money she sold the baby embryo (you) to Fontaine which is why he killed her.

3.) Jack returns to Rapture under the control of Fontaine via "Would you kindly", Ryan says during the twist that Jack was genetically engineered to obey (a slave). Fontaine wanted to use Jack to take over Rapture. Hence the reasons of the shots of the baby being engineered.

4.) Fontaine tried to take over Rapture and there was a civil war prior to the events of the game, it was due to the plasmids and genetic modifications.

All of this is explained in the audio diaries.

Acutally it played exactly the same aside from extra tonix/plasmids. I'm not meerly being sentimental. The only difference to me was the fact that there was major lag and slowdown on survivor difficutly. I wasn't the only person to have problems with it. I have no other problems with any other games and the slow down was evident on my roomates PS3 as well.

Still loved it on Xbox though, great game.

@anomaluigi I think the controls were smoother on the 360 than on the PS3 because they had simpler controls which let fight back quicker. Let's face it: the AI was good enough that it did not wait around for you to kill it.

Depends what guns you have. If you have that trip wire gun, just lay a few across a hallway between yourself and the Big Daddy, then like shoot him with the pistol and run around a corner. He will run through all the trip wires and will be dead from like 4 I think (It's been a while since I played the game)
