@ToNeS1337 Just because it sounds like the melody doesn't make it accurate. There is no piano in the actual song, and the entire right hand is just emulating the vocals. How is that "accurate". Listen to the actual song and ignore the voice and you'll see it sounds little like this.

A standard piano usually has 3 pedals. It's the most-right pedal, and it actually holds the notes even after you let go the key (if you have the sustain pedal pressed down). It's very useful for changing chords and such, so there's no sort of 'silence' and what not.
