i think you are very brave...i wish i can be...it has happened so many times with different people....i cant talk bout it because its so difficult..i feel so ashamed and guilty and i hate myself...i wish i wasnt here

Thanks for you kind words. I have owned that same shame you speak of and it's a heavy burden, but we weren't given the choice. I just hope you know that you will have YOUR TIME to speak and I encourage you to take it.

A lot of guys think it is their own fault, that they somehow gave the wrong signal to their perpetrator & in some aspect CONTRIBUTED to their own sexual abuse. I am a survivor of a vicious sexual attack & I also raped a very faithful husband of a beautiful woman who even had a daughter. He has never told on me but I am so terribly guilty & remorseful but there is no way of even making amends because I never knew the young man's name. I apologize 2 all men 4 all of my sexual indiscretions!!

Thankyou for speaking out. I am a female survivor of abuse (brother) and I becoming close to a man who was abused by his mother. I am SO aware of the lack of resources for male survivors and this flags the issue up.

More of us need to do this.
