  • Why can't all emulators be like pj64. Just one file and that's it. It's annoying to have to download all the other files and the .dll's for other emulators. However this was very helpful.

  • Runs perfectly, thanks a lot for the video.!

  • Guys it can good work with Ram 2GB Graphic Card 1GB HD6570 and processor intel pentium dual core E5700 775 LGA 3.0GHz and of course windows xp with service pack 3

  • AMD Phenom II Hex core @4.0ghz

    12GB Dominator RAM @ 2333Mhz

    2x AMD Radeon 6870 (Crossfire)

I think it should be okay...

  • Processor: intel(R) pentium(R) CPU 2.80GHz

    RAM: 4gb

Graphic card: Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD

will that be able to run at least decently?

  • @DFOdonut

    Nope

  • well i have intel pentium so it doesn't work very well on my computer :(

  • When i'm tryinh to load the iso it says "File not found" wtf?

  • well i'm dead :(

    My Spec:

    Processor:

    Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.66GHz

    2.66GHz. 2.00 GB of RAM

    Graphic Card:

    ATI RADEON HD2400PRO 512MB with 3.0 SHADER

Well i think only is bad my processor here i also can run on my pc L.A Noire game :D also Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 :)

  • @thehardlinegamer lol celeron

  • @jay6157 yea bro so bad i know so sorry :(

  • Is anyone who got this working available to help me out?

  • Pcxs2 is far from being perfect and wont run all games 100% even if you have a great PC so don't expect MGS2-3 or something demanding to run fullspeed/no glitches the ps2 is a bitch to emulate cause of it's odd architecture.

  • @GOODBADGAMER I'm pretty sure building a PC takes a extensive knowledge meaning a spoiled kid wouldn't be able to build one... actually, I KNOW it takes extensive knowledge... lol

  • It's not working. I've mounted my ISO file to the F: drive, and I've assigned it on PCX2, but when I try to run the game. It just says "Please insert a PS1 or PS2 format disk" please help me!

  • mac?

  • intel core i 3-2310m cpu 2,10 ghz Ram 4,00 video ati catalyst 2,00)))))help

  • I can't read your setting, this is 480p video :(

  • Hey bro please help me with emulatot?sorry my English is bad,i install it but game running slowly

  • @Seymuorful It might just be your computer is not good enough

  • Or better yet, buy yourself a PS2. They come pretty cheap nowadays.

  • @DorkehSpork It's far more benefitial not to.

    1) it's free

    2) Huge Game database

    3) Many games look nicer due to higher res/smoothing/AA

    4) Customization in emulation speed/sound etc.

    5) play games of any region.

    6) no need to purchase and setup any additional hardware just run it all off your pc.

  • @DorkehSpork games are still 40 bucks though!!!

  • @luuij0ss Not where I live. In England games range from 50p to £15 (do the conversions)

  • Dude it's not Duo core its Dual core lol

  • When I start the ISO it says theres no Disk inside:/ Help pls

  • Some great games to play on ps2...FF7 Dirge of cerberus, FF10, FF12. :) Can't wait till I get my comp settings fixed up.

  • can i play FF10 on my PC's if i have

    GeForce Fx 7600 video

    2Gb Ram

    D-Core intel Pentium 2.8 ???

  • @alcapsints I would think so... sounds like you have enough power, as long as you have Duo-Core or better...

  • I got this to work on my system but every time the game hits a pre-rendered video the playback of the video/audio is in slow motion. The game play works pretty well on my i7 920, ATI Radeon HD 4870, running on XP.

  • Duo core processor? You mean a dual core processor. Learn to speak English, damnit.

  • @DarkBahamut977 Duo Core!!!

  • runs better on duos than on quads? impossible

  • @AdityaNair1000 You know nothing about computers.

  • @teamepiclulz that's what you think

I at least know a thousand things about computers

eg. i know where the a button is

i know how to shut down

and most importantly, I built my pc

  • @AdityaNair1000 really? so how'd you make the case, and how'd make the metal and stuff? if you just put it together. any spoilt little rich kid can do that. if you actually built it and made it, now thats something! some people dont have enough money from their daddys and mumms to build them selfs a nice computer

  • @GOODBADGAMER so you don't even know what building a pc means, do you? stupid asshole

  • Y'all gonna QQ but AMD works perfectly. It's A LOT CHEAPER to buy an AMD phenom than an intel i7 2800k or whatever. With basically the ssame results. I just wanna be able to play my games on max settings.

  • please ive cried all day anyone who would like to help me or send me a video response because i made another comment

  • @Ferdi1119 Watch my vid

  • i have downloaded an iso file game and downuload ps2 emulator but what can i do to configure this it saids that valid path not found so what can i do iam crying to do it but doesnt works help help me please anyone write to my channel please

  • @Ferdi1119 Hey ! you need to download a working Ps2 bios !

  • can someone link me the latest plugin? link above is not working anymore. T_T

  • @xotwa Watch my vid for links

  • GOOD!

  • can i ask as long as i have the ps2 disc are steps 6-8 the only ones i need to do? and after that i jus boot cdvdfull?

  • "Decent computer"

Make that "superfast highly overclocked Intel Core i7 Processor"

  • @rooo1o Bullshit. And fuck off with your intel shit. AMD Phenom II owns Intel.

  • @Torytheman Want me to show you some benchmarks? :)

Seriously man what is the matter with you? I bought an Intel processor because they are miles ahead of AMD, that's just a fact that I have learned looking at numerous benchmarks. Why did you buy a Phenom II?

  • @rooo1o Because it's the world record holder for quad core processors at a whopping 6.5ghz. Since 2009.

  • @Torytheman Clockspeed doesn't mean everything.

  • @Torytheman lol, maybe you should indeed check some benchmarks first. Intel is far ahead of AMD. And also, who cares about the world's highest clock speed, they achieve those clocks with liquid nitrogen, but those aren't the clock speeds you could achieve for every day use :)

  • I have the CD of that game FFX and FFX-2 and FFXII :> I love Final Fantasy :))) mehehe, just sharing :D

Anyway, what are bios files, are those the files in the CD?? :S

  • go to emuzone for ps2 iso or emuparadise

  • Thanks! I will play it on my mom's laptop... weird.

  • @YoshiroKaisuke96 lol its kinda weird but it is not at all

  • @Razeluxe003 Run fine with Windows 7 (I'm using it). And run great on PS1 emulator

  • Mine is Acer Aspire 5580... With a damn Intel Chipset fool. XD

  • I have an emulator but what I don't have is a good non-dead download. That's all i want really, a good download.

  • Will this run on a (custom made) Sandy Bridge 3.5 Quad core I-5 4GB Navida graphics card 16 GB ram ? Im just kidding.. felt like being that dirty bag that puts his computer that can clearly run a simple emulator and just wants to post his computer for ish and giggles.

  • @iTorrentGAMER It won't run sorry. It will however gain ascension, burn your house down, and promptly purchase hookers and blow

  • 51 ppls never learn how to appreciate the others, doesnt he make this video to help ppls?

  • Has anyone gotten virus from this?

  • Can I run FF X on 3.00 GHz (and is this bad or good)

    My ram is 1GB

    Ati xpress 200

  • @WeLikeToFilm probably need more ram.

    just try it

  • can i run this with

    i3

    4gb Ram

    Ati 5775 hd hawk?

  • @Zell666Dincht You're way, way above all requirements for PCSX2.

  • @Zell666Dincht You should be able to, seems like a decent set up.

  • thancks man

  • Yeah I just think I need to get a desktop. This laptop I have isn't the best for emulators normal laptops in general don't come with the best specs..... If I get a desktop at least it will have a sort of good graphics card and cores without me having to build my own and buy a gaming cpu for like a shit ton of money...

  • @darkfoxs1 Here is my specs for my "budget" build, feel free to get inspirated. :3

AMD Pheneom II x6 3.2ghz oc'ed to 3.7ghz (dont wanna stress out the poor cpu. :3)

    ASUS Geforce 560GTX (Non-TI)

8 GB of DDR3 RAM (mandatory imo.)

    Motherboard: msi:870-C45

    Cheap ass gamepad.

    600W PSU.

    2TB HDD (No SSD :<)

It runs ps2 games just fine and anything else you throw at it and should not cost you more then 500£

  • thanks for the advice man i have tried it and it works like magic all ps2 games run on ps 0.9.8 emulator haha

  • i need you to aswer this, will this work with forbidden siren 2? i want to play this but when i try to play this using the emulator, the game gets very slow

  • thanks for the emulator

i want to play my ps2 game because my ps2 broke!!!!

  • THanks for the BIOS link. =D

  • Are all the links in this vid free?

  • Can you reupload your settings?

  • hi would you please tell me if it works for me i have hp pavillion g7 1050 ek with 500 gb hard drive and 4 gb ram with ati raedeon hd 1 gb graphic card and i5 processor... please tell also how to configure ...thankyou

  • @tarekbaziz with a good bias your system rapes the requirements, 1080p scaling is also possible ,this video is from 09 its almost 2012 the new proccessors now destroy what they had then , and the video cards are also better , quite honestly a quad core amd and radeon 4200 integrated graphics could run it will at native resolution (you dont need 60 fps the human eye only registers round 30-35 so the 60 fps rule is garbage) and you have an i5 (faster than amd) and a dedicated card you good!

  • wre did you get the bios and plugins

  • @shazeebmw well you can dump them from your ps2 or get "stolen" ones, just search around google or something

  • thanks dude it speeds up my emulator i was wondering that my pc is already powerful but how did it lag thanks to this video it worked! THANKS ALOT MAN!!! playing persona 4 and odin sphere! and ofcourse this!!! XDDDD

  • @renzojz What are your computer specs? I really want to play Persona 4 but I don't know if my computer can handle it.

  • @Hollie5192 ohh hey hollie my pc specs is intel core i3 2nd gen 2.10 Ghz dual core or quad core? pretty sure it's quad but i set it up to dual.. nvidia geforce GT520M CUDA 1GB pm me for further instructions :)

  • @renzojz just to help ya , the core i3 is a dual core with hyper threading what it does is it has 2 physical cores , but is set up with transisters and internal memory in such a way that it creates 2 virtual cores , so essentially its a dual core that runs like a quad core , but keep in mind that using a dual core thats simulating quad core puts alot of stress on the proccessor which causes it to degrade fast, so itll be fast now but not so much a year or two from now

  • @poplepo3 ohh i didnt know LOL

  • Rapidshare links are down Where do i get the Plugins then ?

  • Comment removed

  • are you using a ps3 controller to play or the normal keyboard?

  • what's the latest GSdx?

  • can someone PLEASE help me? how do you open your iso. file? there are only open ELF file and run CD/DVD options :/

  • @iqbalfitri Select Run CD/DVD. But first, make sure that you are using Linuz CD/DVD plugin.

  • how to open???

  • looks laggy

    is it because its recording?

  • the plugin link is not working!! btw must i download from both the BIOS link or just one, cuz the rapidshare one isnt working

  • sooo wait.. if i download the pcsx2 emulator thing I can stick my ps2 cd in the pc and run it without harming the ps2 disk?

  • @PS2freak11223 lol why would it harm the disc? and yes you can

  • @dallewis07 cuz i tried putting a pc disk into my ps2 and it messed it up.. aannddd i never realized you could put a ps2 disk in a computer....

  • These emulators can only play games when you mounted iso ..does not like ePSXe that can be played continuously without any need to mount the iso.. :(

  • @fidorulez17 If you use Linuz dvd plugin, you don't have to mount the ISO. Just click File then click "Run CD/DVD" (-_-)

  • Hi! I have a 2.5 GHz intel core i3 processor, 1.9 GB of ram and, tragically,

Intel(R) HD Graphics... Could I still run this?

  • @TheVlarre you can run it .. but kinda with lag .. maybe not with i3 cpu but still you may have a lag

  • @TheVlarre i only have 100 gb of ram and i can run it 90% :D

  • @sonicdudeguy1 oh yeah, you have a pc with 100gb of ram? uh huh....

  • @o3MTA3o its possible with some motherboards to have 244 GB... And 4 GPU's along with 2 xenon CPU's, they are not even that expensive, in a few years I would probably even consider getting a new version of those motherboards. :3

  • @Elenrai no one who knew what they were talking about would say "only" 100gb of ram. and it wouldn't be running at 90% because i get a flawless 60fps with 8gb of ram and 4gb of vram. and a 3.2 quad core. also. please provide a name of a mobo that supports 244gb at a reasonable price.

  • @o3MTA3o and if you're talking XEON processors, then have fun gaming on your SERVER. lol.

  • @o3MTA3o the RAM mobo, I shall hunt its name down!

  • @Elenrai well i challenge you to it but i live with a network engineer and he says you're mistaken, which is what i initially believed too (i'm just a hobbyist). also, i haven't been able to find sticks of ram larger than 8gb for the general market and even those are through the roof price wise.

this is all secondary to the fact that that guy does NOT have 100gb of ram. he prolly has a 100gb hdd and got confused.

  • @o3MTA3o Google for "Kingston KTD-PE310QK3/48G" It's 3 modules totalling 48 gigabytes. Not that anyone would have that in a desktop computer but still, it exists :)

  • @sandman82 that's a good find altho not available to buy for a little while still. and 16gb sticks are the next logical step since 8's have been out for a bit (running about $1000 here in canada for a 8x2 setup). 48 would be super awesome i'd never have to restart again. having said that, it's still not a 244gb capable mobo like the other person said.

  • @Elenrai im going to have to agree with elenrai because even the newest windows 7 ultimate only supports 64 gb of ram max so even per say you could get a board that supports that much ram , your system would never use any more than what the os allows , plus it would probably fry anything do to its massive power drawl, and thats a rediculous amount of ram anyways anything over 8 is overkill big time

  • @o3MTA3o it does work like a charm D: im always play naruto ultimate ninja 5

  • @TheVlarre depends on the game , first allow me to make a suggestion , get more ram installed nearly all new laptops (which im assuming you have , and definately if you have a desktop) have an unused slot or room for higher storedge ram so that will help performance greatly, and its like the core i3 is good (though performance will die quickly messedge me if you wanna know why ) and intel hd will run it im pretty sure just not at 60 fps (which the human eye can only see 30 fps so its no biggie)

  • first get me links to isos pls then i can test

  • i dont have a ps2, where can the bios files without having a ps2?

  • god, i know many asked this, but...the BIOS don't work, i downloaded the archive, extract, but it says the BIOS aren't valid...it's like one week i'm searching for them...i just don't know what to do...if someone can help me please contact me T.T

  • @EVILFINALFANTASY @pcworld88 download a program for torrents (Bitlord, Bittorrent of something else) and then download this the pirate bay . org / torrent /4170684 / PS2_Bios_Files

you just need to remove the spaces of the link

  • @MrKillerBeatsZ thanks! it finally works xD anyway,i tried to play FF X-2, but at the opening, the video is like shaking, and i tried to fix the problem, but the core cs configurations says that some games will have big graphical error because of the frames skipping... when you play games like this, do you have the same problem? ( i have the version 0.9.8. ) sorry to bother you ^ ^'

  • @EVILFINALFANTASY yes i have the same but my computer is just very old and only got 1gb of ram :S

  • It's been like 2 years and I never seen a PS2 emu in action. Are PS2 emulators any good? Also have they gotten any better after all these years?

  • @darkfoxs1 lol same question here

  • @darkfoxs1 yes they have especially with the new pc hardware and updates to the software, now 99 percent of games can be run flawless on a budget gamers system (cheap quad core, 4 gb of ram , and a 100 buck radeon or nvidia card ) and does it as it should with minimal lag

  • So games run beautifully, very little, if any audio or video lag at all, however I can't get the 'analog' to work, any suggestions? x.x if it weren't for this I could be playing games right now T.T D-pad isn't working for moving around, at all, but I can still jump, or go to options and stuff :D.... lol x.x help please? ^_^

  • @Drako377 Did you configure the plugin before playing?

  • @ghfdjghjfdghkdfjghfd I'm pretty sure? O.o never emulated PS2 before, I have the pads set up, if thats what you mean, and the 'controller' selected under configuration.

  • @Drako377 What I meant is the emulator's controller plugin (-_-). Open the emulator, click Config, then click Configure. Then on the First controller, select Lilypad, then click Configure.....

  • @Drako377 Do the same thing on the Second controller

  • @ghfdjghjfdghkdfjghfd I'll try that, thank you ^_^ the 2nd one is already set to that, the first was not though

  • @ghfdjghjfdghkdfjghfd thank you ^_^ works like a charm now, sorry for my noob question, PS2 is interesting to emulate on O.o the analog was being a real pain >.<

  • @Drako377 Ahahahahaha it's ok. Glad to help (^_^)

  • Guys, please. I'm lagging alot on my Ratchet and Clank 2 game, someone tell me everything I need to do to run the game properly without graphic bugs pls :(

  • Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00 GHz 1.99 GHz

    Will i't still work?

  • @pokenomnomnom it might work, 2GHz is a little weak though. I got dual core amd 2.6 GHZ and it stutters a little sometimes :/

  • Comment removed

  • @pokenomnomnom Yes, it will work. But it's gonna be very slow since your using Pentium 4, which is a single core processor. You need at least a dual core to make this emulator run pretty well.

  • @pokenomnomnom should , but not with good frame rates , never go by minimum specs man especially for emulators some games need alot more power than it takes to run other, you should upgrade honestly , ps2 emulators as im remembering only except dual cores so 2.6 ghz for intel, and 3.0 ghz for amd should run it near flawless (but go for better if possible ) and go for round 4-8 gb ram , and pretty much any new video card but get the best your budget allows

  • im using pcsx2 0.9.8.. but this definitely helped me a lot in configuring my emulator.. thanks!

  • Note: If you have the newest version of PCSX2, you get to the Speed Hacks tab by clicking Config - Emulation Settings.

  • So, I've made my computer start a game, all successfully, but my "ps2 screen" keeps shaking up'n'down, lagging like a NDS Emulator.. any help?

  • what if my pc is quad? can i still play??

  • @wongjinxian1994 obviously. duo core is just the minimal requirement.

  • you are a legend

  • Do you have the link to where i can download FF X ? :(

  • @chrisdafurz 128bit . me

  • Comment removed

  • plugin link is not working

  • @C00LX100

    seconded the plugins dont work

  • worked. thanks

  • Where did you get the game? is it ISO or do i need to burn it?

  • @GRAVYRAQUEPz you dont need to burn your iso just click on CDVD and pick your iso

  • @jayarajanet ok thank you ;D ummm can you give me a site where i can download it?

  • tnx for the bios btw im on quad and im playing naruto with 50-60 fps ;)

  • last time i play twisted metal black it was at 22fps ...thanks for the config ...i now play twisted metal at 40fps..............

  • im stuck in this stupid setup menu, i have the bios in the right folder, but it doesnt detect it at all, ive been trying for awhile

  • @animefred

    me too

  • @animefred

    ohhh look:

"Use Linuz cdvdrom, if it doesnt work mount with Daemon-Tools and use Gigaherz."

well i still have yet to try that...

  • @kiiroichan

    GASP! lets try that then!

  • @animefred If you are using PCSX2 0.9.8, you should put the bios inside the PCSX2 folder which is located at "My Documents" not inside the emulator folder itself.

  • @ghfdjghjfdghkdfjghfd Sweet its working now, just need to get a good iso thanks ghfdjghjfdghkdfjghfd

  • Comment removed

  • @animefred You're welcome. Check out my PCSX2 video, I have links there =)

  • i3 processor?

  • you you say put the pS2 disc in the drive is it a ps2 game disk (like GTA or something) that you need? or is it a specific disk?

  • @kewlCrayon excuse me sir the BIOS are not working. it says "please select a valid BIOS. what to do??

  • 2.26ghz dual core is enough?

  • @mmaccoutinho i don't think so but if it was at least a core 2 duo design processor it would've been enough at 2.2GHz (core 2 and dual core processor designs have very a significant difference in terms of RAM transfer and queuing)

  • @jervey123 Sorry, it is a core2, I didn't think there was much difference between the two. I can run Kingdom Hearts 2 pretty decently at 40-60fps. Just some sound/graphical lag at certain points. On the other hand I can't get Star Ocean to lift from 20-25fps. It's probably much more demanding graphically but I didn't thought there would be much difference between two games designed for the same platform. Was there so much evolution between titles?

  • @mmaccoutinho actually yeah the games may have the same platform but it doesn't mean they were programmed the same way and the difference in the SDK engine the game is using for the design could also be a factor

anyhow emulators are more processor-driven than GPU-dependent so even if your core2duo with a kickass GPU can run games like crysis 2 at 60FPS straight it doesn't mean it can run a sleazy PS2 game smoothly . . . whereas an i7 processor with shitty GPU system can run it without a hitch

  • What kinda specs do you need to run this?

  • turbobit.net/2mvioq1uiagv.html Normal emulation no beta best 100% working
