We do have comedians , though it is not very common, probably because of our inherent difficult and serious nature. ( Yes We are all workaholics FYI ) plus the fact that they all speak Cantonese. Dayo Wong 黃子華 being one of the famous ones but his stand ups have so many slangs that they are not fun under translation and sometimes even to people speaking the dialect but have not lived in HK.
