The broncos have really aged Running backs for one.And they're trying to rebuild their D but their Offense isnt perfect either so they drafted him.Alphonso Smith was great in the Bengals game so I guess him and Ayers buyed us a lil time to get are D together.

the pick somewhat confused me too, but it's prevailing so far. And it's always better to have 2 healthy tailbacks than one to split up the work.

Moreno and Buckhalter have over 200 yards a piece after the first 4 games.

Our defense was purged (Dre Bly and company) but we made up for it in free agency with Dawkins. Those guys are NUTS! Least points allowed.

Because a first is expensive. Example this year and the contract talks. Four 1st picks = expensive. Many say though Alphonso Smith and Robert Ayers were the steals of the draft. We shall see.

You see, I actually love this pick. Know why? Because whenever Denver has tried to be a big defensive unit, it's got them far, but that's it. Evidence the Afc Championship game 4 years ago and the several lost Superbowls. When we were all about the offense, it got us consecutive Superbowls. Now I know Orton is'nt a dream, but give him a chance, he'll do better with the likes of Royal, Hillis, Moreno, and the Beast. I think Denver is actually going to improve this year.

Haha I can't believe denver took a running back. They freakin picked up three in the offseason have two on payroll on a fullback converted halfback. But it's still a good choice. Last time they took a running back from Georgia it went well for them, but putting Knowshon in Terell Davis's shoes is gonna be difficult.
