I forgot one more wish: A quick switch for an alternate user so I can quckly set up the I pad or the iPhone for Grandma to use when on family visits. @rocket71792 First you should "Transfer purchases", so it copies all your apps that are on your iTouch, sync to your iTunes library. So when you sync your iTouch your apps aren't replaced.

It's not possible. If you bought your songs on itunes, it should let you download your songs again for free, but apple doesn't let you sync songs from a different computer onto your ipod, because that would mean less money for them.

yah you will need itunes to sync your ipod to it..if you want to charge it and get updates....so you need to have your ipod updated to get apps. and some apps are free and some cost money.....songs are 99 cents.....hope i helped=)

Clearly, you've not used Apple's implementation. It's really not very Apple-like in terms of UI (no drag-select, seriously awkward management if you have more than a few pages, massive problems regarding moving apps from page-to-page and 'bumping', no means of removing default apps). Personally, I'd have much preferred it if Apple had have copied your idea.

Yes i hate to say it but as good as this is, its honestly miles behind what apple needs to implement. As the iphones get bigger and faster more and more apps are made, some phones have 30, 40 games, and 50 other apps of various categories. Apple needs to implement a category or stacks feature, similar to the ones out on Cydia.

Come on Apple Step up to the plate, and stop saying it cant be done, because everything is being done a Cydia by amateur coders. STEP UP APPLE, OR CYDIA WILL SHUT U OUT.

What silliness! An impproved interface to doing it the wrong way. The whole thing is wrong foir any more than a few apps. What is really needed is some kind of Folder/Stack concept where you can group tpes of apps. There is also no reason why the "Homescrfeen" pages don't scroll and allow more than 16 items on a page. It is astonishing that Apple hasn't fixed this yet. It sucks!

Ya know, in the beginning, before we even had pages, the single page on jailbroken iphones did scroll. It was quite nice actually and I was disappointed when they did away with it. And you probably know this but jailbroken iphones have stacks and a folder creating program called Categories. Its a pain to go through and reorganize my 300 apps in their respective folders again after each firmware update. So, yes, I agree, Apple needs to step up and make this native.

Apply should hire you as consultant if you're not already one. I have over 700 apps they are growing. I know that's silly but I never delete any file ever. Excellent concept.

Saving pages for different occasions like if you're traveling, a set of app will be used, etc. Able to tag, label and user comments are also helpful.
