  • @Gamester81 this would be great when I go with my grandma on a five hour drive to Windsor and I forgot my PSP, my iPad or my iPod

  • @Gamester81 you remind my of my father, he absolutely love games but he's not a hardcore collector. You look like him too.

  • This game device is about the same quality level as your channel

  • Works just like a plug 'n play device!

  • We? will be watching you, there's more of you!!! Clones LOL

  • We? will be watching you, theres more of you!!! Clones...AAAAAAAAAAAAAA LOL

  • I guess we've become really spoiled. Something like this even a few years ago would have been very impressive, but now no?

I for one would like to have one, as it looks nice and seems to have decent games.

  • LJN in disguise

  • Let's hope nobody confuses this console with the Sony Ericsson Zeus handheld game console, or else there'll be a lot of disappointed children around christmas...

  • Resident Evil 2 sounds on the game menu. XD

  • This handheld has basically the same library of games as the Pelican VG Pocket caplet!

Who even knew that Lexibook would make a clone.

  • I kinda want one.

  • That was just a nice way of saying that this thing is a piece of shit.

  • that busy bong is like a great sega genesis game called "shove it, the warehouse game" check out MN12BIRD's review on the game!

  • 5:47 "the hungered primitive" lmfao

  • 2 things. 1. How do you go to black and white and 2. If u get the 8ball in off the break its an instant win making u a superstar

  • @mattymatt2323 he was playing 9 ball lol

  • 36 months... I have to do the math o_0

    Dumb american scum

  • You 'Mericans with your wierd spellings. You guys also need to switch over to metric. You're holding the rest of the world back.

  • @dimmddr1 @dimmddr1 While I'm 50-50 with the spelling thing, you're absolutely right about the metric system. Say goodbye to those medieval units, Americans!

  • @Holothurion I'm not too bother'd with the spelling but metric is enormously convenient.

  • Looks like one of those portable consoles you can buy at Radio Shack. They're like the Wii U but backwards.

  • This is based off an enhanced famiclone named VRT Onebus, and some games are made by the Hummer (Somari) Team for these consoles,

It has graphics in 16-bit 4bpp, Up to 16x16 sized sprites, and double the sound channels (4 pulse, 2 noise, 2 triangle, dmc and 8-bit pcm)

  • doesn't look that bad, though when I saw the screen I was wondering if it can be placed on a gameboy color to give it a better use XD.

  • Hahaha, I like how every time he says "interesting", you can tell he wants to say "terrible". XD

  • @ACDsTube He is just a polite man xD

  • Played my Lynx as I watched. Felt like a fucking god.

  • Seems like it would be ace for a long plane journey. :)

  • Well, that Pool game did look nice..actually not that bad for 20$ kit!

  • Some of the games look nice! i don't know about the console though because it looks small for my hands

  • Action 20!

  • I have a bunch of these built in games on a cheap wii clone called the wireless 60, console sucks.

  • You pay what you get for....Haha, Oh john you silly goose.

  • Haha bizzy bong

  • hey in main menu while selecting I can hear a sound kinda resident evil or am I crazy?

  • lol poo pro 13:20

  • Most of the games didn't look like 16 bit at all. But 8-bit only.

  • LOL! Great review John! I love how cheaper products try to "bell and whistle" you into buying the item. The black and white feature sell had me ROFLing!

  • The "16 bits" statement reminds me of the similar "Zone-40" knockoffs you see at CVS, some of which boast "third generation gaming!" Well, the third generation of video game consoles includes the NES, Sega Master System, and Atari 7800...

  • I've seen Zeus for sale every site i go to.

  • Hey great review John. That Lost World game looks fun.

  • Excellent review John! I really enjoyed this one and that's a really interesting system from where I am sitting I was quite impressed with the 2.5" screen but of course you can see it a lot clearer, and for $20 I think I would quite like to pick one up and add it to the collection.

  • Older brother Greg? I think you mean Gary.

  • You get what you pay for.... -so he said it wrong.... a slip of the tongue.... big deal. You guys act as if he said Hitler was a handsom man or something.

  • hey man, i really like ur videos :)

  • 6:23 - 6:30

    That's what she said. lol

  • @gbrltro -_- unfunny joke is unfunny

  • it'd be a lie if I said i wasn't amused by your mild sarcasm in the video XP

I recall when I had a handheld system that had 40 games and you could plug it into the TV. it was as big as my hand, it had shoulder buttons, a very click-ety joystick. the screen was about 1-1.5 inches long, and it had a power button similar to the one on the DS lite. but the graphics were like NES-on-a-chip

  • I feel like the next review should be the pandora

  • It has thee same games as another standalone handheld: the Micro Game Power. And the box is contradicting itself: on the front it sais 5+, on the side it sais 36 months+.

  • The best part is John saying "YEAH" in a victory,

    -YEAH!

  • John, soo much excitement in this vid!!! xD

  • "overall impression of the garba.. handheld.." lol were you about to say garbage?

  • 16-bits technology FTW! I really wasn't expecting the LCD screen to be color since it said you can play the console in black and white and on a TV in full color sounded like the sneaky way of saying the console screen isn't color but it is when you play it on a TV ya know? Meh for 20 bucks it seems decent for a kid or something the color screen look okay and the puzzle games seem good. Busy Bong... lol. It's like Shove it on the Genesis (or Boxy like you said on Game Boy)

  • Great video

  • Mr.Onion is more or less a sprite rip off of Tiki the Kiwi from The New Zealand Story, I've got the game on a Wii clone. There should be another game that steals sprites from Sink or Swim on the SNES

  • The funny thing is, is that's actually a ripoff or possibly even licensed off a console called the onestation, look it up on dealextreme, its almost the exact thing except it emulates games like genesis, super nintendo, NES

  • You say you can bring it to a wedding? How about if you bring it to your own wedding? A delayed "I do" because I'm playing Busy Bong wouldn't be a good idea! :)

  • theres a sokoban game!

  • Didnt the box say the games were in black and white if you dont hook it up to the tv? I don't get it. Did i miss something?

  • @DGMRuadeil It said you CAN play in black and white. But like gamester81 said, why would you want to?

  • @CommanderSwedePlays perhaps, but it mentions both seperate, as in you can play in BW when you're on the console and you can play in full color on the TV. Maybe earlier versions of this thing had a BW screen and they didnt change the box? gamester mentions he doesnt know how to put it in "BW mode"

  • Handheld, more like a plug and play

  • This looks like something you would buy at an elementry school book fair

  • I have this and I spend more time gaming on it than my ps3.

  • more then just europe use coloUr.

  • Gamester I fucking love you man - please please please reveal if you are a weed smoker, or if you have been. I did notice the bong reference so I have to ask. And if you are, me and you should spark up and reach the skies some day. And brother, that day, of all days, will evolve your consciousness to a new level. The psychedelic adventure will not only enhance your abilities to appreciate your aura but deliver a strong sense of navigation through the multiple existing dimensions of our society.

  • are those maple story snails? they couldn't find any thing else more rip-off worthy?

  • Pay what you get for? ;p

Also, did you mention how it looked on a big screen? I assume bad but it's hard to tell on video.

  • for a little 20 dollar portable console with a bunch of clones thats 16 bit its pretty good their getting better

  • It's actually fairly old, I remember ordering it from QVC in 2005 or 2006

  • I had a cheap digital camera a while back that had all of these games on it

  • so this is kinda like one of stuart ashen's pop stations but actually pretty good? neat, i love small gadgets like this^^

  • Actually doesn't look too bad for a plug n play, have you heard of the Arcade Nano systems? They've been selling them in games retailers here in the UK. I got one as a stocking filler this xmas, I think they come in different varieties but mine is basically 10 games including, 5 officially licensed Megadrive games in a little box about the size of a keyring, complete with joystick and four buttons. Pete Dorr would love the Megadrive one ,it has Sonic plastered all over it plus the first 2 games.

  • i recently found a console very much like this at a $2 store in australia but it has 120 16bit games. it was $30 and the games were much better.

  • John, you have some hairy ass arms.

  • @GmonyZB He has manly man arms

  • @GmonyZB ass arms?!?

  • @GmonyZB large amounts of body hair is a sign of intelligence

  • @GmonyZB because he is a manly man!

  • @GmonyZB I can see jelly oozing out of you!

  • These 20 games that are on this Handheld/Plug N Play are made by JungleTac.

  • The REAL way of spelling COLOUR! :)

  • @ThorMaxx Damn stright!

  • I'm really digging the intro tune, Gamester81. It's awesome.

  • 16-Bit technology actually is 20 years old. :-( The shape of it is like an old Nokia 7700.

  • @Kurisuvk You know, the system looks kinda a mixture of Nokia's N-GAGE and SNK's NGP/NGPC to me.

Perhaps Bandai's Wonderswan too but nevermind.

  • Graphics looks like a mix of the Atari/Nintendo 8 bit era.

  • What year was this made?

  • Hey man, are you and the AGG going to pax again this year?

  • Not a bad review at all.

  • lol bubble blaster

  • waste of money seriously :P

  • "hey man, you wanna play my x-box 360?" "no way dude! I brought over my zeus console! it plugs into the tv! and it has 16 bit technology!" lol

  • Are the Buttons plastic or actual Die Cast Metal?

  • about time another review

  • notice how they spell colour? the right way...........

  • @wendalboy - Yes, with an extra silent letter, that makes the word longer.

Notice my sarcastic tone when reading the first sentence.

  • @super58173 i didn't know americans did sarcasm? also if you pronounce it right the u is not silent.

  • @wendalboy - Fucking typical Brit. Bringing up segregation by region.

The U would depend on the accent.

  • Interesting.... Very interesting. I'm almost 100% certain Deep Storm was on another similar device... I'm thinking of reviewing it for a new project I have coming up.

  • So it's not suitable for kids under 3 years old, but the front says it's for ages 5 and up... Okay.

It's a tiny little thing but it seems okay for $20 though. It's not like we were expecting Nintendo quality here.

  • what size tv is that in your gaming room?

  • yeah, I agree with everyone down there. You kinda pay what you get for? I've never heard of something like that, I don't even think it makes sense. English is a second language to me..

  • @GargantuanHunter - It means, literally, you get the object that you've paid for.

It works as a metaphor for the object's quality, based upon it's price.

  • @super58173 Well, I remember the first time I heard it, it was: You get what you pay for.

NOT: You pay what you get for. That's what I meant..

  • @GargantuanHunter - "You pay what you get for" doesn't make sense.

English must REALLY be your second language, because in English, the reverse would be correct.

  • that game around 11:30 reminds me of an old DOS game I used to play a lot (Sokoban), it's a great game with lot's of replay value and great gameplay.

  • ,,, Clones!

  • "You kinda pay what you get for." lol said that weird bro

  • the box design looks like it's an educational toy lol

  • @acicon I agree, was about to say the same thing.

  • That blows

  • Great job John.

  • alright, I don't know if everyone has the same ads at the beginning. but mine was for that star wars game and seriously? how could there be so many red sith lightsabers up in there. I believe there were supposed to be two, no more, no less. right?

  • you might like the gamegadget when that comes out..

  • thats funny john. "you pay what you get for" haha 15:04

  • This looks like fun. I might get one sometime soon. Funny thing is, it's so small and your hands are so big that it looks like it gets lost when you're holding it!

  • haha, you destroyed the lost world highest score in the world on your first try.

  • "Get the Meat" ROFL!!!

  • Yeah, I've been playing "Busy Bong" for years, great game!

  • ROFL

  • i recognize those games, they came with this little hand held with 50 games i bought from gamestop for 9 bucks and it had puzzle bubble, frogger, and burgertime. those were the only games that you might recognize, the rest were knock offs or really simple games that use just one button.

  • BUSY BONG LMAO

  • Man Ive got a handheld just like this one but its different in its design

  • That one looks really nice dude.

  • the Zeus is cool, but its no Pandora

  • @SkankinDevil89 Low, low blow :')

  • that mr onion game gave me action 52 flashbacks lol

  • look's like some deacent rehatch's and with the price point and ability to plug into the tv , it deffinitly seems worth the money .

  • 16-bit my ass

  • @MyJose46 You best get that checked out! Sounds painful :(

  • You need to get a Wonderswan. I really want to see one of those.

  • It works and plays but the games look pretty lame, I saw that same blockpush game on a knockoff chinese phone just the other day.

  • Graig The Cat Killer!!!

  • Get the Meat reminds me of Humans on the Jaguar

  • Gamester, you should see if you can review every other handheld BEFORE they send you your Pandora.

  • I'd like to see you review the Open Pandora if you can get a hold of one

  • Thanks for the nice review Gamster81

  • looks like the gizmondo

  • This is the PSP Vita killer. ^_^

  • If they had spent more time trying to get better indie games on that device they would probably sell a lot more copies.

  • busy bong :D

  • are you going to CGE2K12 in vegas this year?

  • @yukmust Yeah I hope to make it there, and yourself?

  • @Gamester81 yeah i will, didn't make it in 2010 but remember seeing your video afterwards. hey, i'm about to pull the trigger on the "at games" portable genesis. 40 bucks on amazon. it's the one that has twenty built in games plus an sd slot. do you have this? do you know if its worth it? it has pretty good reviews on there.

  • Why do American's spell things wrong?

  • @thelunn

    because thats the American way!

  • @brickman409 LOL great response. =)

  • 9:38 holy shmokes ! are you playing without your cap ? !

  • @Gamester81 Man... that thing is small... gotta be one of the smallest gaming handhelds I have ever seen. I have even seen game and watch type handhelds that are bigger when I was a kid.

Also, weird that it says it is okay for 3 year olds on the bottom/side, but it says for 5 and up on the front.

  • does it have cheetahmen??

  • Nice shirt! I have it too, Target is awesome!

  • Mr,Onion looks like that one snow game on Action 52.

Most of these looks like Action 52 type games.

  • I like how the game preview pictures are laid out on the back, it reminds me of the older systems up until PS1 where they would display them in that fashion.

    Good review John!

  • haha, "pay what you get for" xD

  • Good review man..Now where is that Pandora??

  • HEY! It's in color AND backlit! When you read the instructions, you made it sound like it was black and white unless hooked to a TV

  • Once again John excellent review!

  • Great review dude

  • I'd buy this thing if it was like $10

  • Looks just like the chinese "Onestation" system.

  • busy bong loooool, Awesome review as usual!

  • Ashens should review this. You should send it to him.

  • BUSY BONG! hahahah

  • now that i think about it, it reminds me a TON of the action 52 game for nes

  • interesting device. Oh and i heard that neo geo is going to enter the industry again, perhaps starting with a new neo geo pocket. Do you know anything of this?? thks

    cheers

  • @klzabc I love neo geo pockets (I have 3 or 4 of them) that would be awesome if they did

  • This is the perfect Xmas gift for a young relative!

  • Never heard of this before. Very interesting. Awesome video.

  • Just watched this in 1080p in full screen. Looks great! and Great review
