  • the only thing I can't figure out is how you are usiong the Wind Serpent's Fang instantly like that. Every time I try it I'm always way too high off the ground to follow through. Can someone please tell me how that is done?

  • how is the hitstun and damage calculated on a fatal counter? I though it only affected the initial hit of a combo, but that wouldn't explain why you can do 56 reps on a fatal counter...

  • The combos in this video aren't really too impressive in terms of damage, considering the first two are counter hits and the last is a fatal off a fully charged move.

  • @TalezofMetal no, its not, the longer the combo goes the less hitstun moves inflict which means less time for the next one to connect.  While hazama can do it for a good while, its not an infinite and the proration will eventually make it so it no longer does damage even if he is able to carry it on for an obscenely long time. The main usage for this combo is helping hazama gain heat which is a bit factor in actually doing damage with hazama (explained like you were a newb, sorry if you're not)

  • @TalezofMetal well....a lot of hazamas stuff is trolling type moves, whats that? you want to come in and charge at me, not with my command throw you're not. its a lot of mind games and forcing the other player to play at your pace if you know what you're doing. So, it is mean as a trolling/taunt loop, but its not something that breaks the game or makes the match unfair either.

  • Like any loop, this loop is not too hard to nail once you get used to the timing. And yes, it does feel awefully stupid the way it is (at least to me)...

    Probably gonna be the next thing Arcsys fixes; I'd like it if it was a hotfix like they did for Makoto parry-loop. All they need to do is add repeat-proration to j.214B. That way you can still use the move as a combo extender, but not to that *Extend*... "epicrimshot"

  • For the 100% meter gain combo, it requires two things, you being in the corner and hazama scoring a fatal counter off of the charged version of rising fang, which while according to the CS2 frame data puts him at -18 if blocked, granted he has a lot of pushback now in EX, think of risk v. reward. However if you do get fatal countered it's probably wise to burst during devouring fang since Haz is in CH state and he hasn't built much meter. If you don't have it, learn.

  • that is not easy.....i have been trying to do that loop of 214B.....for awhile...still haven't master it, not even close...... >.> is way harder than it seems lol.....don't be fool XD

    you have to hit both hits of 5C and have master the instant j.214B if not the opponent will recover when it lands on the floor....is a pain in the butt

    from 2C to 8214B.....is not easy for the thumb if you practice for 20min straight to master that specific loop lol......XD; unless on arcade stick or control stick users(my PS3 controller stick is kind of broken.....so i avoid it using since it does random button commands if i do harsh movement on it....it can make me burst from nowhere)

  • I dont like the people saying Hazama is hard to use. Whenever i drop a Hazama combo, i get pissed at myself because i know there are people out there that can do the combos like butter. Jourdal's right, if you know how to use Hazama, or ANYONE else, it's not "hard". If you can't get the combos after so long, then that's not because the character is hard to use. It's just that you suck.

  • @warl94 its not that hard, pretty much every hazama in videos can do it to an extent. And there is a player in cs2 that does it in videos. Its all just practice, once you get it down..

  • I think this is a good demonstration why ASWs choice not to have meter gain decay, regardless of damage decay, may have been a questionable move.

    Thankfully this loop requires such absurd precision and accuracy even top level players have trouble pulling it off this many number of reps, but still.

  • He is NOT broken! The TK look is harder than it looks!

    Try it yourselves when you get the game and if you are able to pull off any combo you see here with ease ONLINE, then complain!

  • @NeoItachi000 you can do it in CS2 i believe its the same difficulty. Trust me its fking hard the time on everything is pretty hard especially the dash after the TK 214B

Watching the comments from players tell me so (that's fucking hard) but that's the funny stuff, that's make the characters more funny and i'm gonna learn it, probably taking me some time, but that's the funny stuff to play Bureiburu.

  • @jourdal I haven't been keeping up with extend videos, This makes Hazama a very dangerous character. Not that he hasn't always been, but what I'm getting at is after a solid mixup he has the ability to pretty much kill in his next combo. If his Houtenjin combos still do big damage that is? Also the only styling Noel was in CS1 : (

  • I think you are all missing the "Fatal Counter" part right near the corner, this doesn't happen often and you just get punished for fucking up badly

  • @colpro73 - Japanese players drop even easier combos than that from time to time. Just because they're Japanese it doesn't mean that they're perfect fighting machines... they drop combos, they make mistakes, and some play even worse than people of other countries.

    Also, just because that combo is slightly tough doesn't make it any less retarded in terms of damage and Heat gain.

  • @RX7jkr In terms of execution, they are pretty high. The combo is by no means easy and that should always be taken into account. Kyaku was/is a one hit death machine because he can set up Carl's unblockable flawlessly. That doesn't make Carl a one hit death character if you get my point. Also, not saying Hazama isn't a great character just that this alone doesn't make him as retarded as the top.

  • @colpro73 lol Ease of use doesn't factor into tiers. Also, not all Japanese players are godlike at executing combos, A lot of Japanese players are just average Joes, it's just that the Japanese average Joe beats the American average Joe in terms of overall skill. If you dedicate enough time to practicing the combo, you can get good at doing any combo even if you are American :3

It's one thing if you're just godlike but 1 combo that starts from a fatal counter flash kick while the opponent has their back to the corner doesn't seem all that big of a deal. For now anyways until newer things are discovered.
