I wish most Lao singers would use this type of accent to sing in. I listen to other artists like tik, annita, aluna and others and I always ask myself why are they so hard for me to understand? But when I listen to these guys I can actually make out words.

This song came out in nevember 2004. It's was the Laos first pop hit song with the style of thai soft rock. It was play every radio station in Vientiane in 2005. If you really listen to it carefully, it kinda sound like "Som sarn" Loso.............

Lao2007, Its not the style of Thai soft rock but Western style of music which every countries in world got their influenced from including Thai pop, rock, and R&B got their influenced from the West aka American and England.

Most of the music in Thai is 90% copy from other countries. We are mostly listen to Thai song and we think Thai got the idea about everything. Really is they copy from other countries also.

Tell them that the singing style will not have a heavy Lao accent like our traditional country music for example: Morlum, country songs, and looktoong songs. When singing in tune with the style of western music our language will sound smooth and beautiful and some people will mistaken our Lao dialect for Thai dialect. The reason I said dialect its because both Lao and Thai language is under the same language family; it is call Tai-Kadai language family. We are related to each other through genetic, language, and culture. Lao and Thai are Pi Nong Gun.
