Lara is flawed,has issues but loves Ani.But she needs to focus on her drining issue instead of fighting a lost battle,for a love she will never have because Ani doesn't want to give up on Gina.No matter how flawed Lara is she deserves to be with someone who loves her and only her,not using her until she finds her way back to her ex,or because she doesn't want to be alone.

They didn't break up, actually Lara asked Ani to marry her.and we don't know if Lara went to AA but she lied about the letter Gina sent to Ani ,hide it and burned it and kept on drinking.But... Lara is an alcoholic who maybe doesn't realize her drinking issue is a real problem since she's grown up in a family with an alocholic father.Maybe for her it's normal.
