  • What I read about the Katana on the Wiki page was that you had to complete the game once with a good/good+ ending, and then a bad/bad+ ending, but if what you're sying is true, then I have no idea what the requirements are myself.

  • My favorite UFO ending is from Shattered Memories.

  • Haha, yes, that one's great.

  • 5:26 I get the reference, I get it to the max. Looney Tunes for the win! HASSAN CHOP!!

  • actually the mumblers seems to actually be grey kids in the us version of the game

  • Tsk, they simply cannot come up with one consistant name XD The Silent Hill Wiki had them labelled as Mumblers, Grey Children, and even Claw Fingers, which is another enemy entirely XD

  • @RoahmMythril I just checked the wiki again and they now called

    Clawfingers the mumblers.

  • Silent hill origins had the best UFO ending check it out if you dont belive meh just search "silent hill origins UFO" if roahm your reading this whats your fav UFO ending?

  • Indeed, 0rigins is my favorite UFO ending. Though the Dog Ending from SH2 is my overall favorite ending X)

  • this has to be the best guide on silent hill ever

  • Are the secret effective against the Rompers, bosses or those sewer-dwelling ceiling crawlers?

  • The secret weapons are pretty effective against the Rompers and Hanged Scratchers, yes. They're not too effective against most bosses just due to how they're set up, like I wouldn't recommend slashing Split Head with the katana, you're just asking to be eaten. Still, for those that fly, the Hyperblaster is probably a viable option.

  • its worth the bad ending for the katana

  • Yes, yes it is.

  • @RoahmMythril --- Awsome Video , Thumbs UPP!!!! >>>

I liked how u made it the whole game into a movie and posted it on youtube..

  • All you need to do is beat the game on any difficulty.

  • I completed the game once before though, on Normal for the first part of the LP, and did NOT receive the katana.

  • GAMEFAQS LIES!!

  • @RoahmMythril The katana I am damn sure is unlocked by getting a certain rank with enough gold stats and a good+ ending. That's how I unlocked it. I was also on easy when I was able to get the katana on the first playthrough.

  • Huh, weird... Okay, so that's three different theories on what unlocks it ^_^;; It's the most mysterious unlockable weapon ever XD

  • agentjr made a let's play of this and finished this day ago.......or weeks.

  • lol, agentjr forgot to get this weapon...

    Agentjr made this playthrough.

  • Hm? I'm not quite sure what you mean?

  • The Katana, The useful weapon of Silent Hill! X3

Btw idk how to get it... :l

  • Well, I showed how to get it earlier on. I'm fairly sure the only requirement is you have to beat the game on Hard difficulty. The Katana then shows up in a secret room in the house on Levin Street with the doghouse outside.

  • Katanas! The only way to travel! XD

  • Ooh, a UFO... I can't wait to see where this is going :D

  • HASAAN CHOP!

I was hoping you'd make that reference.

  • Aye, I couldn't resist X)

  • Ah Katanas how we love you <3

  • Indeed, so very true. Definitely my weapon of choice. My custom character on Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends uses Zhou Tai's fighting style so I can use one.

  • Hahaha, its offical. The fastest mode of travel in Silent Hill is Katana.

  • More or less, yes X)

  • Well that debunks a myth that I had about SH, that it's not just a trip to hell or a twist in the universe.
