Make sure you backup on a seperate HDD aswell, I have all my portfolio online and on 2 HDD so you do not have to worry about losing data.

The good green doesn't give inspiration, if you can't get inspiration straight or sober, killing brain cells certainly wont help. On a note that has to do with the video, awesome video as always, I use fireworks and can't wait for your tutorial series, I always feel like I am not getting out of fireworks all I could be.

Personally I would recommend hosting your client's accounts. There's a reason why the big companies are happy to pay $50 in commissions for referrals, that being because the recurring income makes a very good business model. All you need is a decent reseller account and with 100 web design client's you could easily bring in $1000/month in hosting income.

Great Video! A great free html (and PHP) editor is Aptana Studio. Its based on eclipse but I feel it does more out of the box. Dreamweaver is nice as it works well with the other adobe products; but stand alone html editor, I choose Aptana.

One thing I have found with laptops, they overheat due to dust and what not. Open the case and use compressed air to clean the vents and fans will help with the overheating issue.
