How does this work? I tried the exact same method. Got 20000+ hit combo, 600+ chain for 30mins :) yeah I'm bothered but ended up getting 1exp + 90K+ bonus. And this is on unknown too. What's wrong??? This is the ps3 ver btw.

Can you people answer me this? Symphonia is my favorite Tales so far. It has lots of bosses and also dungeons and towns are small. I kind of hated Abyss because it was all the oppposite. Few bosses who are all the same and ridiculous backtracking, traveling and scenes. It was like the whole point of the game was the story and not the gameplay. It was so unbalanced. After the first playthrough it gets incredibly frustrating. So, how is Vesperia compared to these two Tales?

1.the golem will recover and fuck up the combo or

2.gold cat/lightning dog will push the enemy away and fuck up the combo.

is there any way I can keep the artes from pushing the enemy back?

You're supposed to have Rita equip the skills "Hell Fire" and "Athenor".

When you use Rita's arte "Tractor Beam", it will be altered to "Gold Cat".

If you use it many times, she'll learn it!

actually got duke and put him on unknown mode, used my special turbo controller that by friend made for me, and turboed the stick and the a button, did 1 damage, and ended up with a lot of 9's and 100THOUSAND grade in the end. I taped the button and stick down and cape back in a day. :D the next game, i became Jesus.

Rita's Gold Cat Arte is an Altered Arte which can be learned when you use the skills Hell Fire and Athenor and use the Tractor Beam Arte.

If you didn't notice, in the comments, he says that he is using Technical Battle which does not work with 2x nor 10x Experience. It sets your Exp earned in battle to 1 and you get bonus experience for your combos (the higher it is, the more you get). He also fought a Giganto Monster which allowed him to get much more experience than a normal battle.

I don't think that the person that made the video used the 5x EXP grade option, mostly because they wouldn't have gotten to that point with it. Levels don't carry over. He got the amount of EXP he did due to the fatal strikes most likely.

Yeah, the English voice actors were particularly good for ToV. I don't mean that Japanese VAs aren't good either, but I think people tend to say things along the lines of "omigod they sound so kawaiiii they are like so much better" purely because they are Japanese, worse still is they probably don't even speak it!
