well, if i remember correctly, there are at least 3 or 4 1st place World Champions in that lineup. There's also several first place National Champions.

I'm sure, also, that the Mid American region has their crown jewel dancers, but that doesn't make either region better than the other.

Yes, that is Fiona Dargan. Yes, she won 2008 worlds, has won all irelands, nationals, oireachtas, ect. (got hurt at worlds this year, I think)

Irish dancing dresses are often very tacky these days, and covered in orange and animal print and feathers and flames.....

Most of these are very stylish. It's nice to see some people still have taste....

vaemcdowell, I don't know, but I wish they weren't. There is nothing natural about Irish dancing anymore. It's a pity.

It would be so much easier to appreciate the dancing if the girls didn't look like they were copeting in a beauty pageant!!

That's Fiona Dargan. This is her third Oireachtas win (I think?) and she's won Nationals twice. In April she'll go to the World Championships and she has a very good shot at winning that, too.
