  • I had a single chamber flowmaster on my Trans Am and it was the sickest sounding exhaust I have ever heard in my life.

  • so this si like a "bullet" muffler that goes right in the straight peice? Ive never heard one i didnt figure they would sound this good

  • I regret getting rid of mine too.

  • sounds really good

  • still have cats

  • had a 3 chamber on my lt1, loved it.

  • And probably lost 10hp or more at the wheels with the 3 chamber.

  • @Herps85 You will only gain at max 10 hp from a muffler swap, any muffler.... maybe 1 at the most.

  • best trans am i ever heard

  • I'm a 5.0 guy but I will say thisFirebird sounds decent!

  • @786myfist nothing sounds better than a mustang v8....nothing.

  • @jeffzahnd i hope your talking about the oldschool stangs and not the shitty over head cam stangs.

  • @SAtownZ28 they all sound amazing. I'm just a car lover, and nothing sounds better than a gt/cobra with an aftermarket exhaust. I have a c5 corvette manual with long tubes and corsa pace car exhaust and LOVE it. But I still think that the 03 cobra down the street with offroad exhaust is the best I've ever heard.

  • @jeffzahnd they sound cool but nothing beats the sound of 427 corvette, 454 camaro ZL1, 427 cobra jet shelby cobra, & a challenger with a 426 Hemi. i just dont like the sound of the 4.6. it has its own sound. i prefer the sound of an old school OHV motor. i like the deeper tone it gives out compared to the OHC.

  • i love the trans am

  • Thanks

    I wish I still had it :(

  • ill sell ya my ls1!

  • @hotrod7687 why did you get rid of it?

  • @SAtownZ28 I needed a good truck to pull my boat and to go to the deer lease. I wish I would have kept the trans am, and just bought an old truck to use when i needed it.

  • @hotrod7687 makes since. get rid of one toy so you can enjoy others .

  • I've got 3 in singles on my 78 Formula, true duel on an Olds 403 built to 500+hp and let me tell u, once you put a cam behind those flows it just sounds beastly so get it done already.

  • best sounding t/a i've ever heard.. I've got singles on my 306 it sounds really good but it has alot different tone with yours

  • i think that sounds way better than the 80 series. Its got a clean tone when you rev up and let off the gas. The 80 has that crackiling pitchy popping sound. Hell Ive heard some that sad to say, couldn't really tell if it was a v8 or v6. If you listen close you can tell. Your's is clear as day what in it. It sounds more aggressice the way you got it setup.

  • they make a 10 series cross flow?

  • Nope, its a single in/out 3inch. Its welded in the I pipe just before it bends to go over the axle. Look up a TSP rumbler cat-back and you'll see how the muffler is set up.

  • yup mine is done the same way on my t-bird... single 3inch in/out

  • hows the clearance i want to do this with my 99z28 but im lowered

  • @hotrod7687 so thats how you did it, i was looking at the 3" single in 2.5" duel out and trying to fab up the proper bends. did you just split the single out with like a small y pipe?

  • sounds pretty good. weakk burnouts though

  • Yea I know, the burnouts suck. That pavement is slick, so burnouts usually turns into a wild spin but its the only place around that I dont get in trouble doing it.

  • Are those tailpipes or bumper extenders!

  • i fucking love that sound

  • oh my god, i love how that sounds

  • how much does it cost to fill gas on this from emtpy tank to full? and how much KM can it go? just wondering because i might get it.

  • Yo i have a 95 LT1 formula. how do i make it sound like yours?

  • camfitz007, talk to a little fairy, he'll make your car sound like that

  • flowmaster sounds nice on trucks i like magnaflow better

  • I like Magnaflow alot better as well.

  • Sounds fantastic.

    I got flowmasters too.

    They sound awesome.

  • yeah guys get a life. i'm a Ford guy, and i still think this sounds great.

  • is it because it Sounds almost identical to a 5.0 ford? lol

  • it totally does sound like a 5.0

  • NICE

  • its all about GM, fuck ford!!!! nice car

  • Fuck you. Fords better than GM

  • r0fl not its not..

  • How about you both shut the fuck up... And same goes for the guy that will soon be under me.

  • no really, ford does suck - their tranny's break

  • HA! i think i'd rather have a headlight motor break on my car than my tranny blow up or engine like a ford!

  • Not true if you take care of your equipment. By the way there was a Twin Turbo Trans Am on here and many people who know cars especially know what I am talking about. That waxed a Turbo Supra. So to say a "shit-ass F-Body" sucks. Is a false statement, I know because I own one and I had 2 Camaros in the past. One of them with 129,000 miles on it and still ran strong. Trans Am's and Camaro's are great in racing competition and a good car to have in general, enough said.

  • I do 3k rpm launches (rpms are much lower on an ls1) and my car has 126k miles, you're ignorant or just being a dumbass on purpose

  • neither one is better than the other its all personal preference. if we all liked the same thing that would be pretty boring.

  • Just as I thought, it is always someone on here from 15 to 20 years old who thinks they know everything about cars vs. someone a little older. You need to grow up some more and get more experience with automobiles before talking smack to others.

  • Sounds good, is that a bigger sized cat-back, or just the muffler with stock piping?

  • Its larger piping. It was a TSP rumbler cat back that I changed out the muffler. I wasnt too big on the dynomax bullet that came with the rumbler, so i switched it out with the flowmaster.

  • sounds nice. Did you do it yourself or pay a shop. and how much by the way. thanks. I got a 2000 WS6 6spd too.

  • I had a shop do it for me. I paid around $100 for everything. The muffler was about $75 then another $25 to get it welded in. I already had the tips before i got the flowmaster.

  • where did you bought this muffler

  • I bought it from summit racing.

  • Nice, and you live in texas too.

  • Every time I see a video of a WS6 showing off, . . . I can't help but to think the owner is showing off to the world how much better his car is, . . hahaha. Your car is awesome, . . I want one SOOOO bad. . . . . . . .:-|

  • sounds pretty damn nice! I got the 80 series, its not too bad, but I like the sound of that much more.

  • Thanks. I was suprised at how good it sounded. I was just looking for something louder, but it sounded great too.

  • thats quite get a cut off!

  • I did better than that. I have headers and off road y pipe now. Its LOUD. I have a vid of it, do a search for my vids.

  • im thinking of getting one of these a saw a 2000 ws6 for 10g's with about 50k miles on it

  • If its in good shape thats an awesome deal for a WS6 with low mileage.

  • Wow, flowmasters usually sound like shit on an LS1 but that system sound damn good! How much did the 10 series cost?

  • I bought the muffler from summit racing, it was about $75 total. The 80 series cross flow mufflers sound like crap on the LS1, but the single in and out one or 2 chambers sound good. The muffler is placed just before the axle close to the driveshaft, not the usual place under the back bumper.

  • Fucking sweet dude!

  • nice car and sweet ass sound

  • Thanks
