Actually the stunt trucks were pre 81's. But the nice one while they are just driving or chasing someone were 81 and up. Totally different front ends. Hoods, fenders, etc. and pre 81's had the chrome trim outlining the gold. Where 81's up had the red pinstripe.
pretty close but the real one is a 80 or possibly a 81.5 or a 81 1/2 as the headlight and grille were a one year stlye and it was definetly a gmc k 20 sierra grande how ever some of the trucks that were destroyed were chevy and gmc pre 1979 versions i even saw a few 73/74 modles destroyed in jump scenes .....
finding the correct 80 /81 is getting hard these days if you have the headlight bezles then you can convert a 73 to 79 into the correct form almost however the lower body curve

@halflife103 really? i understand that they are both general motors and look the same but gmc's are work trucks and chevys are shiny show trucks. for fuck sakes they come stock with 22's on em these days u gotta special order truck wheels and tires.
that's not the truck from the show the paint job is the same but thats a chevy and the truck on the show was a GMC seierra plus the turn signal's where in the bumper

Als Kinder haben wir (bin selbst Jg. 1978) Colt Seavers schon zu DDR-Zeiten geliebt ohne Ende und dort montags im ZDF (kam bei uns im Raum Aschersleben perfekt via Torfhaus K23) geguckt.
Die Lehrer hat es zumindest an unserer POS nicht sonderlich gestört, wenn es dann am Dienstag in der ersten großen Pause laut auf dem Schulhof bei uns Jungs ging: "Eyy, haste jestern Colt jeguckt???" und wir dann die Szenen mit unseren Matchbox-Autos nachspielten. :-)
