Pick the lock, remove the clamp and then clamp it on another car, (preferably belonging to the jackass that put it on yours) then put some of your favorite 2 part cold weld epoxy in the lock. Although this one would be easily removed with a bolt cutter. Buy you're own clamp, everytime you park where you shouldn't be parking, clamp your own wheel as you leave. Then, when the clampers come along, they will see it's already been done.

Bolt cutters aren't illegal to own in the UK, it is classed as a tool, but if you hold a pair whilst walking down the street wearing a grey hoodie, baggy track suits and a cap, acting suspicious, the police will probably think otherwise. Just use an ordinary hack saw, takes a while but if there's no cameras watching, it's only a matter of time and patience. Liking the French tactic, superglue the keyhole. Either that or you drill the bugger until your heart's content.

Apparently they gave up trying to clamp cars in France, because as soon as someone saw a clamp on a car, they put superglue in the lock. This meant that the car couldn't be released & the clamp had to be cut off, lots of hassle and very expensive for the clamping co.

not a fake clamp, DVLA use em to clamp untaxed cars, they dont have writing on em coz they stick something under your windscreen. i know a rock pub were they bought an old limo (unusable) and painted it with rock icons, and then placed it on top of a container as like a big advertisment, DVLA man climbed up and clamped it coz it had no tax, honest, the clamp is still on it 6mths later
